hey all, i've got some great news to share! I think the battery is quite good now.. maybe because my phone is a clean new phone without so many apps.  IDK but right now, it's running for a few days straight now. For 2 full days with around 60% left from full charge.. altho, i restate that this may be because i don't have task killer and too many widgets on the screen.. (lazy to instal, waiting for the official asian version of GB) The news about the xxkpe version is a delight but anyone can confirm the swype experience, has it been fixed? kinda liked the GB keyboard. be a shame if I had to DL the froyo keyboard just to swype better

Used to be able to do that back when I was using 2.2 Froyo with Swiftkey Keyboard software.

After updating to 2.3 double tapping on the word no longer highlights the whole word =(

One of the bad things of 2.3 I guess. Or maybe there's some other functions yet to be discovered

n ive tried it...it wont select a whole word by jz double clicking it...
but there a popup to choose whether to select or copy the word...
u need to drag  the cursor to the word u wanna select...
this is jz from what ive tried...

n alrdy finish restoring data using titanium backup
wat i can say that the camera autofocus is fix...

congrats...hopefully SOD is resolved too..
btw when u do titanium restore in batch does it take a long time? mine will take a long tiem just to restore a few apps at a time.

if u want ur ace to run gingerbread, u should download XXKPE firmware from samfirmware...
update ur ace at YOUR OWN RISK bcoz this is a leak beta firmware from Europe, not an official firmware from samsung...

I still think its the wifi issue. Went to McD just now, online for couple hours and I forgot to turn off the wifi. SOD when I reached home.

hi all, i got some question here:
i rooted and installed move2sd enabler in SGA before i download and installed any other applications. but aft i installed about 10 apps, my internal memory dropped from 150mb to 120mb. I did switch on move2sd enabler to 'external', but still taken bout 30mb of my internal memory after 10 apps installed.
1. Is this usual case?
2. then wat for to use move2sd enabler?
3. or is there any leftover files in internal memory after download n install that could be manually delete (such as the installer apk files)?

any1 has any solutions for this? thanks...
if 10 apps consume average 30mb of internal memory, then 40 more apps will use up my the internal memory!

After you use the move2sd enabler, you have to go to the apps settings to move them from your internal memory to SD card.

Settings > applications > manage applications > *move to SD*
