Try this...

Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications

Under All tab, find "Gallery" and "Media Storage". Clear the data. Reboot

Updated my phone to 2.3.3 ( S5830XXKP9 )
Rooted the phone as well.

Been using for the past 3 hours without any problems.
Applications are installed smoothly as well.

Titanium backup works well ( free version ).  biggrin.gif

Camera auto focus still isn't that good yet. ( The focus seems kinda out by a little to me. Objects appear slightly blurred but still ok. The picture feels as if you shook your hand a little while taking. I will try to upload some pictures for you to see if I have the time later. Going out soon ) tongue.gif
Macro works though. Just tested it.

And the phone takes ~1.5 seconds to re-engage/light up after turning off the screen. A little slow but still fine for me. Not gonna complain about that since it's still a beta afterall smile.gif

Other than the 2 issues above...so far I haven't face any problems yet. 8 hours of no SoD already. I hope it lasts. laugh.gif

Don't update your phone through kies  smile.gif
What version is your phone? You can check through
Menu > Settings  > About phone ( last item )

Oh and read the first page too. FAQs are helpful  biggrin.gif

Oh and, welcome  brows.gif

What is your fw version?
The reason to not update from kies now is because the fw kies currrently offers is simply buggy. ( fw version S5830DXKC1 ) << someone correct me if i'm wrong with the buggy sod version notworthy.gif

Update for your phone can be done manually.
It's not without risk though. ( a little bit of it ) tongue.gif

Google up the guides if you need them.
You can visit samfirmware if you need somewhere to download the firmware files and have a look at guides smile.gif

Good luck !

Not really sure, but I think up to 80% it will still be fine for the phone smile.gif

Hi all,

When I bot my ACE, Papago was pre-loaded, and my Papago is "hangs" on the routing page now (every time I open it) and then the Papago auto off. What I can do now?
