I read reviews saying that the battery sucks big time, the 1650 mh battery doesn't really do that job, wanted to get the SL also but i went for the ACE because of the stability, IMO

yea, is damn frustrated coz you dont know who called you, and the logs didnt show anything after you on it back.
i been complaint by friends why didnt pick up their calls. >.<

right now i turn off wifi most of the time, only on it when need it >.< to reduce the % of SOD >.<

I have a question, I have been reading about all this SOD thingy, may i know what was done to trigger this incident? I have to phone and i want to prevent it from happening.

delete the sim card contacts..that is what i did.

The downside is your sim card will be empty of contacts if you switch phone.

(you can still restore it later if you want or backup as .vcf file)

ya, also can, i just assuming if you depended on the sim card to store contacts, then your phone unlikely to be another android OR internet enabled...

This phone got Japanese Language ? Setting section change whole phone into Japanese.  I want to find a RM1k below Android phone with Japanese language. So far i found SE X8 and LG optimus One don't have.

Everytime i set my Call Logs to only show "Received Calls".. i noticed that after a while... it resets to showing ALL again..

Suggested to use green power for manage your WIFI and data plan. You can found it at Android Market. It can reduce battery drain.

Who have facing SOD, try use green power. I guess, it can manage to solve the SOD when you use WIFI. My wife's Galaxy Ace still running properly without any SOD. What I set for her phone just off the dataplan and on the green power.

For best result, please root your phone before use the green power.

For those who always facing problem. Why don't you all complain to samsung CEO. Anyone can provide samsung CEO email address here?

Hi.. I got a question.. I got my gmail linked to the phone email app.. And.. It seems that my google chat is on all the time.. When my fren msgs me on google chat.. I get the notification n i can reply by tapping the notification..
But if I close the notification.. I can't seem to find the google chat anywhere... Can someone tell me where to locate it?
I didnt install any apps for messenger or google chat...

Bought my ace on 23/5/2011. Seller registered the phone on 20/5/2011. This means i lost 3 days of warranty . But not as bad if the buyer bought the phone 1 month after. It means losing 1 month of warranty.

with that budget, better off u buy Galaxy S or Galaxy S Plus (avoid SL),
both still within ur budget and better performance..
