high performance in term of entertainment option by power4gear is around 4hours
so i assume can hit 5 hours + if low performance with bluetooth off
will upload some pic at night to proof 2 GPUs and battery life~~ tongue.gif

Yeah, if mere web browsing I don't think it'll be that short nod.gif
Thanks in advance for the review laugh.gif

seems that SV is better hmm.gif no optimus but can 4 n half, SL 4+ only.
you mean gt intel graphic and another is nvidia? intel HD gc and nvidia ha?
*
Well, the results are not very accurate at this point... laugh.gif
But afaik, the battery capacity for the A43 has always been larger than N43 series

Yes, one Nvidia GT540M, the other Intel HD3000

4 hours + is considered very good already, especially for a non-U series laptop  nod.gif
Older generations of laptop can hardly survive 3 hours  laugh.gif

Well, I guess if it detects 2 GPUs then it has Optimus  nod.gif
THanks for the heads-up~

Oh ya, I think I might just add into the pricelist whether which Asus laptop has Optimus or not, easier for people to refer too...
So iinm, A43Sv don't have Nvidia Optimus. U31, U41, U43, A53, N53 and N43SL have right?  hmm.gif
How about A43Sj? A42 seires?  hmm.gif
Can sifus please clarify this? thanks thanks  notworthy.gif

Its not accurate in a sense that it was tested by different people?
Unless we can standardized what's been running on each laptop? We can't be too confident on the results...
The ideal way is to have 1 person owning both the A43 and N43 to test the battery lives out (with the same parameters on both laptops), but that's almost impossible laugh.gif
I think you shouldn't worry about the battery life that much.. the battery will eventually degrade over time anyway

Attached Image
battery with 5200mAH

Attached Image
entertainment performance, almost in par with high performance, with bluetooth and wifi on

Attached Image
low performance, with bluetooth and wifi on

Attached Image
