I just let them be inside the box, good for my resell value. Because I trade so many Razer stuffs on garage sales, many pontential buyer like em

No lah I seriously want the new sensor. I'll need to change some play styles that requires me to lift off the mouse for more swift movement. With current sensor I can't do that, this new dual 4G can make it happens.

I still don't understand the mechanism of the dual sensor. One is laser and another is optical. Basically the laser will the do tracking up to 6400dpi. Then what is the optical for? Just to track the surface when the mouse is being lifted up?

i assume the optical sensor is being used as a proximity sensor to know when to stop tracking when the mouse is lifted??

So basically the sensoring on the 4G Mamba is gonna be more better than the previous 3G mamba?

Sounds logic... yea perhaps it works that way.

We will see when it is out... I will remain sceptical until I use/review it myself.

Actually QCK works fine with both laser and optical sensor. I'm using Xai with QCK Mass, no problem.

from what im guessing, 4G is just to get rid of the z-axis issue which i would say is where the optical part comes in...since razer doesnt seem to want to use avago sensors anymore.
whereas every other advantage that comes with laser is still there.

hmm...dunno whether to get the deathadder black edition or wait for BF3 products

If you just need a good mouse, Deathadder BE should be fine. But if you want the prestige of endorsed items, wait.
Basically I don't like any endorsed items coz they are usually not worth the money
