I always follow ringgitplus promos, this one seems to be the best one so far... Huawei Tablet + HTC Smartphone and some cashback on approval, not bad, no need to buy christmas present for children liao...

I like to know is there any T&C to entitle to get this free tablet?
For example need to use x times... min spend every months....need to keep the card for x years....etc?
Plan to apply for it sweat.gif

Correct. Apparently no catch other than must apply via the ringgitplus.com site, the tablet is given out by ringgitplus themselves not HSBC.

The smartphone is from HSBC and is more like first-come-first-serve basis.

Oh, I see.
I applied via ringgitplus website, but the link still link to HSBC site, and it pointed out HSBC will send a code in SMS/email if card approved.... hope can get a tablet for free.... icon_idea.gif

5) Finally somebody called me on 20th Oct, 2 days ago. Yeah, after 3 weeks and told me the BT cannot be reversed anymore. I said "good job" for calling me back after 3 weeks. I said I have already accepted it and will make full payment to HSBC once it is due. I asked when can I get my watch and now he said I'm also not eligible for this promo as my card was tagged to the Huawei tablet! mad.gif
*

Hmm...sorry to hear that story...
As I know, the Free Huawei tablet promotion is only start on 08 Oct 2014 ---> 08 Jan 2015, right?

Hi, I really want to know, who already received the free Huawei Tablet from
RinggitPlus?

If you got it, how you receive the code? By SMS or email?
Then how you give it to RinggitPlus (by email...etc?)

Thanks.

I spoke to the HSBC lady that processed my application, she said the code will be send between 2-4 weeks starting from the activation date, not approval date. So you might want to clarify on this.

After the code is submitted, ringgitplus.com will take another 2-4 weeks to send the tablet.
*

so... need to wait 2 months+ to get the free tablet cool2.gif hmm.gif

I'm in HR and yes, you will need to inform your HR. It's normal that banks will call HR to certify your employment.
Aeon, HSBC and Maybank called to confirm before and I picked up my own calls. I'm one of those can verify information. rolleyes.gif

My fren in other company, has this issue. Their company not allow to do any verification like this.
So...rejected too, so pity.

Well, technically we are not allowed as well because of PDPA 2010 Act. We need to adhere to this.
However, if employees inform us in advance, then we can release the information but not salary information to bank.
*
So far, I never know they (any banks) will call to admin/HR to do verification until last week sweat.gif
Anyway, HSBC called to my office direct number to do some personal verification.
