walau Canon 5D MARK II with 24-105 F4L AND 70-200 f2.8L wo sifu. if use FF not sifu who else can be sifu wo? SIFU w

wah don't simply say leh I got no L lens only some cheapo lens lol planing to sell my kidney later so get some good lens you baru sifu mah with n8 also can get lighting shot nobody else done it

anyway I don't know wherether you remember I have a problem with my ovi store on my n8 you know wut number to call ahh??? nokia did call me but when I try to call back cannpot how to solve ah??? my ovi problem stuck till today...

Check ovi store help page or email nokia malaysia from facebook

I already did it they did call me and say to call back if my problem not solve when I try to call back cannot 1 lol...

Indeed. Feeling like getting it since i am a future owner of N8. How much ald ah? Last time i try to find it but it turns me off coz of the price.

Since i have enterprise name, i can try to get for you guys for a lower price if you guys willing to let me do so.

DSLR is different from Point and Shoot style photography, there're many things to consider; Handling is different, many things that you don't need to worry BEFORE, when you DSLR you need to worry, unless maybe you use LiveView and shoot Auto all the way?

Maybe firstly consider if you want to invest into photography because DSLR is an "expensive" investment; if you just stick with kit lens, better you get a high end compact or mirrorless because it would've deliver even better result. Plus, are you willing to carry around the DSLR anywhere?

High End compact or those EVIL cameras might be a better choice for people who want to enjoy photography yet not spend too much and easy to learn.
For lowlight, Olympus PEN delivers excellent result and good ISO performance for micro 4/3s sensor size camera.
Sony NEX is another good choice, it's sensor size is similar to DSLR, have great ISO performance like DSLR, yet handles like a point and shoot; Plus, there're many nice features, like tilt screen, Panorama, etc.

Wat sifu Alex said is true. Doesn't mean u hold tua ki means u are the best. Most ppl use tua ki need Photoshop to make their photo look good. What's da different u use a compact camera take and edit? It depends on the person holding the camera too.


The secret we learn in the gathering is never let the camera control u but u be control of your camera . A lot ppl look down at edof camera I just proof the wrong. It does have limation but it still can perform

Well, Symbian is old, but it does not mean that it is a useless OS and i barely have complain for it other than lack of flash to browsing internet.

Not that I have anything against the tua ki or under estimating you or your wife's ability to take good shots. Just that when I first got my DSLR I was frustrated that I can take better pics with the N8 compared to the tua ki. Ended up I had to do a lot of reading up and also attend a course on DSLR Essentials organised by Canon.

And like sifu Andy said, you'll have to bother with more things compared to the N8 and PnS. Such things like DOF vs aperture, ISO vs shutter speed, etc. Then you'll want to get better lens than the kit lens so it's spend, spend and spend. After that you decide you need macro lens, so the cycle goes on. After lens, you'll want flash gun then FF body then Hasselbald then .... you get the drift.

With a good PnS, you get all the features in one cam plus you do not have to buy extra lens for extra functions. Only thing is you need to do a bit more leg zoom compared to the super zoom lens on the tua ki.

Hope all our input to you can help you make a better and informed decision as the jump to DSLR is definitely something not to be taken lightly.

a lousy (not so) camera with nice subject (eg: bikini girls) = win...

a pro camera like D3s / 5DmkII with lousy subject (eg: a dry leaf XD) = lose

Dry leaf also can give good results lor. Go look in sifu Aspire's Flickr and you'll see what I mean.
