Yes...start from Rawang until Jalan Duta toll...that is one stretch.Another one is until damansara or subang, not so sure. I am working with the design consultant company..maybe kick off March 2012 because some of design changes.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 23): KUALA LUMPUR KEPONG BHD [] (KLK) reported a 48% increase in earnings to RM460.61 million in the fourth quarter ended Sept 30, 2011 from RM311.04 million, boosted by the PLANTATION []s sector and disposal of an associate, Esterol.

It said on Wednesday its revenue increased by 48.9% to RM2.999 billion from RM2.014 billion while its earnings per share were 43.25 sen compared with 29.21 sen. It declared an interim dividend of 70 sen per share versus 45 sen.

“The group's pre-tax profit increased 38.3% to RM599.2 million. The current quarter's result was boosted by the non-recurring surplus of RM200.6 million arising from the disposal of an associate, Esterol, whilst last year's quarter had a writeback of RM76.0 million on the allowance for diminution in value of investment,” it said.

KLK said the plantations sector recorded a 27.7% improvement in profit to RM447.5 million due to better selling prices of commodities and increase in fresh fruit bunches production despite higher production cost and FRS 139's fair value loss of RM27.1 million.

However, the manufacturing sector's performance was adversely impacted by the uncertainties and concerns over the sovereign debt crisis in Europe and global macroeconomic environment which had eroded customers' buying confidence and disrupted the supply and demand pattern.

This sector reported a loss of RM49.3 million (4QFY2010: profit RM26.1 million) with substantial stocks write-down as a result of falling prices and FRS 139's fair value loss of RM33.9 million.

For the financial year ended Sept 30, its earnings jumped 55.2% to RM1.571 billion from RM1.021 billion while its revenue reported a 43.4% increase to RM10.743 billion from RM7.490 billion.

KLK said the Group's pre-tax profit for the financial year at RM2.066 billion had surpassed the preceding year's profit by 49.4%.

The increase in profit was due to a 41.9% surge in plantations profit to RM1.596 billion, driven by strong selling prices of commodities which had over-shadowed the impact of higher production cost.

KLK said the manufacturing sector reported a 40.1% increase in profit to RM201.9 million despite the loss suffered in the fourth quarter.

“The results for the year had benefited from added capacities coming on-stream as well as relatively strong business environment in the earlier part of the year,” it said

It also said retailing profit fell 33.6% to RM18.4 million due to narrower margins and increase in operating cost.

The disposals of two associates, Esterol and Barry Callebaut Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BCM), had generated a total surplus of RM244.0 million.

QUOTE(takso21 @ Apr 21 2011, 05:18 PM)
Aiya, now every housing also got own "privatised" G&G wat.  Build your own palang; block your own lorong belakang, etc.  tongue.gif

True to what you said.  So if you work in KL, it is better to buy house in KL only.  If you work in Klang, then buy a house in Klang.  So forever, we would not be facing with traffic jam jam problems on peak hours la.  rclxm9.gif

As again, for those "ulu" areas, there is potential for more growth as compared with "established" area.  So, if you have tons of money, go and invest in those millions of dollars one.  But the chances of more up in price in the future is slim.

If now you buy "ulu" area at somehow low price, if suddenly tomorrow they want to build big university, proton city, lrt station, highway, hypermarket next to your homeland then "kaya" la u.  Chances of big jump in price is high.  But if they want to build kilang nuklear or kilang sampah, then "kaput" la your $$$.  rclxub.gif

So, when we talk about investment, we talk about making BIG money at low cost.  But in reality, ppl are kiasu n kiasi type.  And since we are mostly not belong to the son of Lee Kah Sing, long or short ROI, tu depend on your lucky star la.  But still, u can open your eyes and ears big big to listen and keh poh bit on news bout big corporate plans, goment development plans, etc. cool.gif  whistling.gif

Some info for you guys here: Using 1 Utama PJ as the base, Bandar Sri Coalfield is only 23.5km from 1 Utama, so much nearer compared to newly sold houses in Denai Alam. It is slightly farther away if you compare to the nearest residential area in Puchong ie. Bandar Kinara that is 18.2km from 1 U. The toll from Bandar Sri Coalfield is only RM1 compared to the LDP tol to Puchong of RM1.60. In terms of development, Bandar Sri Coalfield is under the Kuala Selangor Municipal Council. A grandscale building of thousands of hectres of shops for light, medium and high-tech. industrial development covering a large area near Bandar Sri Coalfield and many areas in Kuala Selangor is targeted to be built by 2013 and 2015. U can check its website to confirm on this. biggrin.gif This means lots of people will be working in these new areas. Even if you think this area is far from PJ and KL, you can easily rent out rooms to people who will be working there in future ma....also, there is lots of Malay food across the road in Desa Coalfield for those like me who love Kelantanese food. According to the developer, the long Kuala Selangor Road will be widen too and this will greatly shorten your traveling time from there to PJ. So you can see Bandar Sri Coalfield is about the only nearest spot to PJ left and its house prices are much cheaper compared to house prices in PJ, unless you can afford la... Price of houses there is also cheaper than the newly launched property in Puchong. Price of similar land area new semi-D in Puchong to be completed in year 2013, around the same time as those in Bandar Sri Coalfield is already RM1.7 million advertised few months ago. By 2013, investors most likely will sell even higher. People who have booked semi-ds in Bandar Sri Coalfield now will definitely be selling cheaper compared to those in Puchong because it is further away. So what? it saves you hundreds of thousands of dollars to own one for a few more kilometers of travel daily. That's why those newly launched units are snapped up like lightning a few months ago.

Did you use the LATAR Highway which connects to the NKVE?

or the old road?

Once the new Penchala Highway Extension is completed then travelling to KL will be a breeze.
