QUOTE(NiKKi3010 @ Apr 27 2011, 09:55 PM) Yes, lol I am a real female. You know why they ask like that? Cos last time they all thought i am a girl Sigh, still no luck. It's just blank with the backlight on. Welcome to Defy! Too bad you have a bad 1st experience. Defy is a good phone for the price. My wife was using iphone4 but she so like my phone that she sold it and bought an android phone herself...but higher end than mine...HTC Incredible S. Added on April 28, 2011, 12:52 am QUOTE(Damour @ Apr 28 2011, 12:29 AM) just wanna ask all the defy sifu..is it really capable of bring down to water take video? and it is water resistant or water proof?? i afraid that it oni can swim once or twice then after that masuk water... very interested in this phone though..but before that just wanna clear up those few questions xD... For me, i think this phone is really not to serve the purpose of taking underwater video, not it is indestructible. If you are looking for a phone that can withstand "accidental" abuse, then this is the phone to go for. Dont get it just bcos u think u can take underwater video or abuse the phone cos it will damage. If u accidentally drop the phone in water, or on the floor then no prob.Added on April 28, 2011, 1:02 am QUOTE(blackwhitechipsKL @ Apr 27 2011, 11:22 PM) was using 3.4.3-111 lor, from the liquidarc ROM. HAHA...i just saw ur post on XDA...better wipe and restore to avoid problems.video will be good, but i dont really take much video, so still bearable. still waiting for the final version. not sure if my apps will still be around after update? damn malas to keep backup and restore again lah, some more need to manually press one by one. got any apps can straight restore all backup apps and data together?? QUOTE(blackwhitechipsKL @ Apr 28 2011, 01:08 AM) Never happened to me. Only problem I detect is video recording. Haven't test gps but I think also not working. Very satisfied with the rom even with these 2 defects. Not sure beta 4 worth installing since for me, nothing much updated I have to use my fingers to press the screen near the sensor to on the screen back. Weird |

Only on CM7. On Froyo no problem at all. Strange. I suspect is maybe the sensitivity value of the proximity sensor is different but Quarx say it's the same.

Hey Blackswitch, your recording on CM7 ok or not? Mine can record but the recording seems laggy. The movement is jittery and jumpy. How about yours?

QUOTE(blackwhitechipsKL @ Apr 28 2011, 05:54 PM) can't record anything at all. will FC, but camera works fine with preview. still using beta 3 only though. not sure if updating to beta 4 will need to do re-do my configs. i plan to update without flash I think i have to revert back to Froyo liao. So mafan have to press the screen to on the screen back. And some of the function is not ready yet also and a still got bugs. Ya, gingerbread is nice....but if got problem, using a stable Froyo is better i guess. Maybe a bit slow...but not slow until so obvious. I will wait for a final version before going back to CM7.btw, i'm ok for the gathering in midvalley. if everyone is ok for beers, we can make it at The Library and ogle at chicks at the same time, but if not, i guess somewhere else lor. |

All the apps you find in the market but they skin it to either dark version or transparent version. Looks very nice.

QUOTE(TAGreptiles @ May 3 2011, 12:09 PM) any reccomended SBF to flash? Before u flash....reboot...press power button + volume down. You will see a android with an exclamation mark in a triangle. Press volume up + volume down together. The menu will come out. Choose wipe data and then wipe dalvik cache. After done reboot and straight away press power + volume up to Bootloader mode. Then flash the sbf again. It should work now. Added on May 3, 2011, 12:25 pmI flash a SBF now its stuck at the "Android" screen after the Moto Logo. If you planning to go back to CM7, try use 3.4.2_177 Deblur. I am using this 1 as my base in CM7. Everything works fine. |
