just update as per normal install in custom recovery if you want to maintain your apps and stuffs, but for safer installation, wipe data and cache.

i've wipe data when install MIUI from CM7, but i've use CM7 Beta 2 all the way to RC0 without wipe, so i guess it's ok not to wipe, but if shit happens, dont come looking for me

hmm...I don't really understand what you asking. Did you wipe cache/data before installing the miui zip?

i dont have the problem....just update my MIUI from 1.6.10 to 1.6.24 without wipe, and installed the language pack. no issues and running normally

that's another thing that i dont use...the quadrant benchmark. it's flawed. better to use another benchmark apps, but then again, i'm not bothered. as long can use fine, why bother knowing?
