Serious Usage for me..
means using it for a longer duration.
before this, i just keep flashing, sometime almost every 2-3 days..
trying different ROM

battery usage cant say much, but definetely latest CM7 last abit longer than MIUI..

is CM7 b6 battery ok for you?im having issue that the display is eating almost 70% of my battery...
even i have been using it in the lowest brightness

thats quite weird..
last time i go to cyberjaya, can last me almost 1 day using wifi only..
(if use 3G sure more cannot last more than 6-7h)

but dont know bout that display setting..
see ppl complaining it at XDA or not
if yes sure can fix edy ..

i'm still using nordic froyo with self tweak. battery can last around 12 days totally in standby mode i.e. airplane mode (i use wifi once in a while) and around 4 days with normal usage. i use minimal homescreen widgets including minimalistic text, widgetsoid, advance clock, simple calendar widget, fancy widget and widget locker along with golauncher.. btw i'm using normal wallpaper, no livewallpaper.

well, if you use airplane mode, definitely can last very long, cos almost not using anything at all during standby

for me, i'm already using CM7 as my daily ROM, but still some needs to tweak it here and there to make it ok. photo taking with this camera still sucks, and pictures arent that sharp. was taking some pictures of girls in a exhibition with this camera, and i can say, the lousiest standalone camera can still beat this. probably need some fix for it.

I think my Defy earpiece dying soon is it because of my hardcore usage? I thought new batch shouldn't be any problem

Mine is dead after 2 months of usage. I replaced mine with the SE 850i earpiece that lasted about 1 month ++ then it's dead again. After that i sent to the service center and replace it with the Motorola 1 for about RM100 (mine is not covered by warranty). To be honest i am very skeptical on how long it can last. I have a feeling they are using the same component as the one that comes with our phone. If it fails again...i am just gonna sell off this phone and get other brand.

Hi pls help, I can boot but when press home screen is blank, all else key is not valid. I previously freeze sys app without backup and uninstall launcher pro. Do I have to flash stock rom as in uk 2.51 sbf???

If is still original rom , then u shd try factory reset. but ... this will wipe everything ..

u can extract gzip file using winrar or any other compression software
