Also can, DiGi more quota but less speed.

And some want to make and receive calls which DiGi prepaid internet cannot do.

Plus, RM100 topup is required to get the best rate from DiGi.

i don't think U Mobile have roaming for prepaid other than in Singapore

for postpaid, you would need roaming activated first i believe

The free 100 mins is for all networks.

currently, there is 15% bonus added if you make an IDD call after your second topup (minimum RM10) onwards after activation

however, according to U Mobile website that promotion ends today, 29 February 2012

U Mobile don't have the call cost notification right now, but i suspect they may add it within about 1~2 months from now

There is no data roaming for MB128 or any Broadband plan

my understanding is

Mobile Internet has data roaming

and Mobile Broadband don't have roaming

but if you add MB to your voice plan, then still can use Celcom for calls and sms

I think this will change when U Mobile's agreement with Maxis starts

Another small point to note: the broadband plans cannot data roam on celcom network.

the agreement with celcom is up in 2013, same year as the new one with Maxis start, so it does look that way

sim card registration could still be network problem with Home Location Register

this happen before with U Mobile when they had a meltdown on a working day last year, after which they gave us all free sms for one day for three months

last time I checked, U Mobile TnC did not say anything about grace period so in theory they could terminate your line if you did not top up before expiry date

however, some people here reported there is 90 days grace period

i got one spare U Mobile sim with expiry date 20/03/2012 and still active today

so i think your line still got chance, and i would keep trying or contact U Mobile

naughty of U Mobile

i've reported and enquired of U Mobile whether it is a known issue

will report back when i get a reply

if people didn't complain, service would never improve

even it is only a few sen each time, for lower income people every sen counts

nothing stated on U Mobile website about charging for these sms
