reload = renew or top up?
UMI auto renews provided your credit is enough and not passed credit expiry date. This post has been edited by dgboy: Feb 8 2013, 05:24 AM |

QUOTE(vostro78 @ May 18 2013, 07:53 AM) eh, i notice that one of the prepaid line i am using which show expired on march and i am still able to call out yesterday.... i thought normally prepaid once expired can only receive call and sms, call out only after we top up to activated the period ? my expired date show my account expiry on 19/3/2013. Mine is barred for outgoing call and sms (expiry 29 April 2013), though I heard Umobile still allows to subscribe the Mobile Broadband (not UMI) plans. Not enough credit to test that |

UMI free calls are deducted first, even you call to U number.

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 16 2013, 01:58 PM) I believe you can subscribe UMI except after 10 days your line will be barred, including data.If you subscribe mobile broadband instead of UMI your data access should continue after line expiry, though I don't think it will auto renew. 1. What is Unlimited Mobile Internet?
Unlimited Mobile Internet is a prepaid subscription service for internet on your mobile phones. This mobile internet plan comes with free airtime and SMS. The subscription is available in RM18, RM28, RM38 and RM48. All UMI plans is valid for 30 days. Your USIM must remain active in order to enjoy this bundle. 7. Will I be able to use U Broadband if my credit validity has expired? If your credit validity has expired, you will still be able to use U Broadband until the U Broadband validity expires. QUOTE(viqq @ Aug 17 2013, 12:41 PM) I always reload RM30 and the validity is 90 days. But there was one time I was still able to use my UMI eventhough the Usim has expired. The only thing is I cannot make calls. Internet, whatsapp etc. was still accessible. The long credit validity from U certainly helps, though it's good if they also allow UMI subscribers' data access to continue past credit expiry. DG is the worse on this as they bar your line totally upon credit expiry. This post has been edited by dgboy: Aug 17 2013, 01:05 PM |

QUOTE(kw @ Aug 27 2013, 09:50 AM) Initially I was thinking of choosing either UMI 28 or UMI 48 prepaid plan, but later I've been thinking that since I only need pure data plan, wonder can I choose the broadband prepaid plan like MB 15 or MB 40. These Mobile Broadband plans are under-utilized compared with UMI.If you want more data quota and don't need the free mins and sms that UMI offers, the MB plans are a good choice. And yes, you can subscribe using the USSD menu. Note that the MB 15 plan does not auto-renew. This post has been edited by dgboy: Aug 27 2013, 10:31 AM |

QUOTE(kw @ Aug 27 2013, 10:50 AM) IC, thanks for the fast reply, so seems like MB40 should be the best plan that suit me. Yes, agreed. And another good thing is the data usage can be checked FOC using the UMB menu.Just manage to dig out their FAQ section, seems like if activate MB plan through their UMB service is FOC |
