Thanks for the quick reply. You mean it will be credited after 60 days? I've ported and reloaded RM 30 on 26th May, but yesterday I got a SMS saying the following

Port-in 15% Top Up Bonus received for Top Up on 06/13: RM0.00
Total bonus for this mth: RM0.00
Bonus will be credited to your account by 15th of next mth

Does it mean my reload on 26th May is not counted?

QUOTE(gavin_lim @ Sep 11 2013, 12:06 AM)
Last time my uncle's U-mobile number didn't reload for 4 months ++, not only the number not being terminated, but also still able to make calls. Eventhough this is not the best deal in town, but still can satisfy those people who seldom make a phone calls.

I was satisfied with U-mobile prepaid for about half year, until recently they do something different that I feel being cheated.

For U-mobile prepaid subscribers, every time we reload we entitle for free call to other u-mobile subscriber for 60 minutes a day. Let say we reload RM30, in the coming 30 days, we have 60mins free calls each day (except 7pm to 12am at 6cents per min) to other U-mobile subscribers. If we sign up data plan, let say the U28, we can have another 100 mins free calls to NON U-mobile subscriber. It used to be like this for quite a long time. Until recently I found out it's no longer the same. The U-mobile to U-mobile calls minutes is now deducted from the 100 minutes as well! Means that in worst scenario if my first 100mins calls are made to other U-mobile subscribers, I didn't have any extra free calls for signing up the data plan.

I miss the smooth data speed that U-mobile used to be. With RM28 a month I can experience the speed of Unifi (before quota ends), some more with free calls and sms, why not? But now I don't sign data plan anymore since I couldn't fully utilize the free 100 mins calls.

I'm not saying U-mobile is the worst. It is still a better choice than many other telco providers, but just wanna say it is no longer the best.

U28 is still worthy if you dun call out much cause rm28+ with 1GB data is a steal among the Big4 , Maxis,Celcom,DG and Umobile

That means load RM10 every 4 months or RM30 every 12 months. Best deal in  town to keep number for long term.
*
Topup rm10 = 30days active validity, after that another 90days passive validity , then line deactivated [ dead ]

30+90=120 days.

At some locations, esp complexes like shopping mall , there is a certain interval of the day Data Transmission is very bad, but at open space its okay, maybe its due to bandwidth problem.

Google USA is an example of International Destination to call which is not too expensive compared to Botswana [ rm3.38/min ] and Google number is easy to search, keyword "Google USA"

Only one top up is needed before the IDD call, unless it's your first top up after activation.

rm100 topup will entitles you to rm15 bonus ~ thats the max each time, even if you topup rm200, only rm15[celling payout] will be given. If you topup rm10 , the bonus will be rm1.50 laugh.gif

@team24k

Auto-renewal can be both a convenience and a nuisance, depending on the circumstances.

Most of us have had bad experiences with prepaid from time to time.

The victim should learn from it and move on.  Next time, will be wiser.
*
It can be resolved by forwarding this case to SKMM.

They are very good at these kind of stuff and the user always get the better side of the bargain.
