UM just need to make its 3G better at abt 10mbps would b enough, no need LTE cause only cities can enjoy them.
Make every town have good access to 3G would be fine.

QUOTE(robeng @ Dec 3 2013, 02:58 PM) LTE being "bullied" by Maxis currently based on its Cell all over majot Cities/Towns now.Umobile will only provide LTE at its flagship location in major locations only due to its limited budget. This is how Maxis LTE look like , even in a smallish town. ![]() How can Umobile compete ? I would rather want Umobile to improve its 3G first. |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 27 2013, 12:31 PM) totally agree with you. their 3G service also cannot work properly during congested hours or at congested areas. Try XOX for better Mobile Internet if Umobile sucks.strange thing is previously it worked fine but now for some reason it can hardly move. it gets so bad that i cant even receive or make a call. this happens to areas like Mid Valley, Pyramid, City Center, etc Made a complaint to them and CS keep asking for specifics like exact time and date, etc but they dont understand it is happening all the time. Once I get out of these congested areas, their 3g works great Anyway, DG also improved a lot these days. Truely Tomorrow's Network now ~ most sites on Dual Channel HSPA+ now. QUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 27 2013, 01:12 PM) Sigh I thought of going back to Maxis. Either take back Hotlink Rm30 per month 1gb or Surfmore 50 for 2gb I urge you to try DiGi Combo 25 , 500MB Data and 150mins to all DG lines and free 150sms , to subscribe *888*1*1#I hardly make calls UMobile prepaid got no International Roaming and most of these smaller networks are the same or IU30 , 1GB data for rm30/30days , *116*3*1# And DG Customer Service = Top Notch compared to Umobile |

QUOTE(Recorder @ Dec 28 2013, 09:41 AM) but for digi prepaid iu30...the once finish quota the internet cannot be used anymore rite? DG IU30 will be throttled to 64/128 kbps ~ can jalan whatapps/line/wechat but email loading a bit slow and FB cannot jalan.but for umobile just that the speed is capped? UM also similar , Hotlink also the same. Celcom DEAD STOP, XOX also DEAD STOP after quota |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jan 8 2014, 03:33 PM) Thing is my Umi28 is due to renew 2 days from now (actually I should renew it now, finished all the quotas already). Do not let the system Auto Renew for you, let it lapse,Would rather not switch to the new prepaid plan if I can get the new UMI without it (then can keep free SMS to umobile once 25 finish). New subscriptions from now onwards is under the new Plan already. Or STOP Auto Renewal first Go chk your fon now, UMi28 = 1GB data already |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jan 9 2014, 09:36 AM) Not accurate. You can only maintain the old UMi28 (500MB data) for another mth ~ if you let the system do auto renewal, the following mth will be all renew at the new UMi28 (1GB data )There is no more old UMI28 (500 MB, 100 min call, 25 SMS), all UMI28 are now 1 GB, 50 min call, 25 SMS). But I (and those who haven't upgraded) are still on old prepaid. 9sen/30sec compared 10sen/30sec Free Call and SMS (to U, 6 sec gives 20 free) compared to just Free Call No free data compared to 1MB/ringgit free data 10sen/MB (used to be 5sen) vs 20sen/MB I see no reason to upgrade to new prepaid plan. Only benefit is a measly 1MB/ringgit free data (my UMI28 will now get 1 GB, and this 0.1% of it is supposed to encourage me to switch?) Anyone else can comment on my analysis above? Correct me if i err . |
