totally agree with you. their 3G service also cannot work properly during congested hours or at congested areas.
strange thing is previously it worked fine but now for some reason it can hardly move. it gets so bad that i cant even receive or make a call.

this happens to areas like Mid Valley, Pyramid, City Center, etc

Made a complaint to them and CS keep asking for specifics like exact time and date, etc but they dont understand it is happening all the time.

Once I get out of these congested areas, their 3g works great

Sigh I thought of going back to Maxis. Either take back Hotlink Rm30 per month 1gb or Surfmore 50 for 2gb

UMobile prepaid got no International Roaming and most of these smaller networks are the same

but for digi prepaid iu30...the once finish quota the internet cannot be used anymore rite?

Thing is my Umi28 is due to renew 2 days from now (actually I should renew it now, finished all the quotas already).

Would rather not switch to the new prepaid plan if I can get the new UMI without it (then can keep free SMS to umobile once 25 finish).

I think I will stop auto-renewal and then subscribe again 
1GB is a good deal for me since I can't finish the free call every month 

i test another sim, now if want subscript to umi28/38, it show the detail of new plan already.

Not accurate.

There is no more old UMI28 (500 MB, 100 min call, 25 SMS), all UMI28 are now 1 GB, 50 min call, 25 SMS).

But I (and those who haven't upgraded) are still on old prepaid.

Free Call and SMS (to U, 6 sec gives 20 free) compared to just Free Call
No free data compared to 1MB/ringgit free data
10sen/MB (used to be 5sen) vs 20sen/MB

I see no reason to upgrade to new prepaid plan. Only benefit is a measly 1MB/ringgit free data (my UMI28 will now get 1 GB, and this 0.1% of it is supposed to encourage me to switch?)
