That was fast! That means TM was doing some testing or were facing slight hiccups?

Mine still not normal although can feel some improvements with more international sites. Some sites still have issues like Vimeo. I think restoration is being carried out area by area. hmm.gif

Why Linksys? They aren't as good as they were back then.... + Older models had issues with torrents...

for budget networking, i cant think of anything other than linksys and asus. My current linksys router has been serving me well almost 6 years with all sort of abuse and still going strong. But i didn't know if the reputation has changed with their new models as i never bought another linksys since then.
My experience with brands contains the word "link" in their name has been disastrous. vmad.gif

can any1 provide step by step on how to access the unifi modem (aka black box)?

i tried the following:

1) connect directly to my PC LAN port
2) set static ip
3) after set, type in the gateway ip into browser, but not found.

hi, i just got my unifi installed today.

i'm using wireless router to connect to the internet.

but my ping has been 22+ and will shoot up to 1.6k and back to normal.

so my question is, is it normal ?

would i get better ping if i connect my pc straight into the modem port ?

also, can i change the tm d-link wireless and replace it with other wifi router eg. linksys or netgear ?

Lol....I'm using a TP-Link.... Very reliable.... Except I'm using a different model than the 841N...

For budget, I've seen Linksys' reviews, they aren't that great at wifi performance at stock......
