Question here. Is the USB port on the DIR 615 powered? I was thinking of getting a USB fan to cool it down when I have unifi installed. Is it even possible or i have to add a proper RM40 desk fan with its own power socket?

For the MikroTik RB250GS, it is possible to only use that to connect the PCs in the network in lieu of the DIR 615? I am contemplating on setting up unifi in the office and I would like to use the MikroTik RB250GS to connect between the switch and the fiber box.

Yes, the USB port on the dir615 is powered. U can attach a cooling fan.

from shah alam sec36, unifi down too....call to services center take sooo long only got ppl answer, they said hving problem with shah alam, sri kembang and ...

Great ... Just great!!! I tot I'm the only one having problem. Down last night around 12 something until now. Called helpline and waited for 5 minutes but they're too busy evading customer call ... I think.

I called the 1300 88 1221 number and then check network health. Looks like got major outage in Klang and Shah Alam.

For now I rerouted my connection back to Yes.
