Wanna band? Im drummer.

No specifics as even I'm unsure. But, if you want some rough locations, Kajang is the closest to me at the moment, Cheras is near, KL is always accessible, Midvalley/UM/PJ is still good especially with train, Klang is probably too far for me and I probably won't go beyond Batu Caves.

1. Instrument: Bass
BACKGROUND: Used to play during High School and College inconsistently due to budget and time constraints. Studies took up most of my time so I think my skill is just around somewhat a bit on the average/advanced stage. Given enough time to practice songs, I can make it work. Still not enough to improvise on the spot but I can try. I've had a really long break from playing because I did not have my equipment with me when I moved here for the last 6-7 months. (I'm from Philippines, btw.) Currently relearning some of the old songs I used to play and also learning the lines to some of Bruno Mars' tracks (his songs got really nice bass grooves).

2. Influences: 90s Pop/Rock/Alternative - Lifehouse, The Calling, AC/DC, GnR, Some Incubus, RATM, Metallica, Iron Maiden songs, a little bit of JRock.

3. looking for who; I'm looking for like minded people who care for a band as a caring group of individuals wanting to help each other out to develop talents and skills and passion for music. Does not need to be professional/expert musicians as long as willing to do music for the fun of it.

4. his/her influences/musical preferences; I listen to a lot of genres of music, except for really heavy metal, so i don't really mind playing different things every now and then. I don't mind playing metal but I get tired of it pretty quickly.

5. your requirements: not racist - i'm not a local so racial discrimination is definitely not appreciated.

6. Location: Puchong/Sunway area. I don't have a means of transportation other than taking cabs so it'd be nice to have people who are just around in the neighborhood.

7. any other related requirements. Happy people. Life is hard enough to always be depressed anyway.

A regular not so good guitar player wants to improve with a band

1. I play rhytm guitar. Can play simple solos like corazon espinado by Santana etc
2. My influences/musical preferences;mainly metal, Metallica and trivium is my favorite band but i like to play any type of music as long as its good. I like rock,punk, jazz, blues.. From metallica to gary moore to M.Nasir type of musics. But not Justin Beaver.

Current achievement only performing in my college (in college band,but not anymore) and 2nd place in band battle(not really a band battle, its a musikal instrumental competition among colleges under kementerian kesihatan malaysia) .
