Hello everyone, trying my luck to form a band playing country style musics.

1) looking for: Guitarist(lead), Guitarist(rhythm), bassist, vocalist(able to play acoustic guitar is an advantage), Keyboardist(optional), Violin(optional) & Banjo (optional),

2) instrument: Guitars, keyboard(optional), Mic, Bass guitar and all those amps and stuffs.

3) influences/preferences: Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, The band Perry, Eric Church, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Tim Mcgraw, Jason Aldean, Faith Hill & etc2. (well I do open for any other genre that is related)

4) location: Subang Jaya/Petaling Jaya/Shah Alam (KL depends)

5) my requirements: Anyone that enjoy listening to country songs (well, can be Country rock as well) is an advantage. Do not have to be a professional since myself is quite new on drums.

6) Add info: I do really focus on typical classic songs, genre can range up to country rock, modern rock, alternative rock, ballad, pop rock, blues, rock and roll, R&B & etc2. (as long as it does not run from the element of country musics)

3. looking for who: A band with gigs that needs a bassist. Otherwise, the band should at least have some preparations (recording, production etc) and would be planning for some steady work by the end of this year. I want to take this seriously, even better if I can learn to be more professional like you guys in the band.

5. your requirements: I am currently in Selangor, but if I have to move somewhere closer, I will consider.

heh, nah..just a lot of rock music,,nothing too metal, cuz i kinda realize that a lot of malaysian likes metal, and i want my band to be different a lil.

well i dont mind country.. i play guitar, bass, keyboard. and i just wanna have experience in a band. but where is ur exact location??

yeah,electric bass sounds good to me,..the thing about this band is that,we are multi cultural and we do not judge anyone based on their outlooks,plus  we only write english songs, speaking realistically,we are not looking for any music contracts,or shooting a music video or appearing on shows and stuff,we as a band just love to perform and spread a certain message around,if fame and success comes with it,we grab it,im the lead guitarist of the band and im the youngest,im just 18,as of right now,the rest of them are 29-23.if you're around that age,i'd love to audition you,only if you get the message straight that,we do not wanna be a pop STAR or ROCKSTAR.think about it k?

could you give some example of bands that define your musical influence/ preference?.....on the contrary i feel the metal scene is slow dying for god know what reason....

Hi guys, i'm currently looking for like-minded people to start up a pop-punk/mainstream pop rock side project. I'm a 2nd guitarist and can do backup vocals. Influenced by New Found Glory, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Billy Talent, Simple Plan, Green Day..etc. I'm currently playing with Lies Left Untold and i just wanna do stuff that's more fun and laid back. Hoping that this project will turn out to be something serious once the line-up's complete.
Looking for (male/female doesn't matter):

- Vocalist --> Has attitude, has a punk yet poppy voice if possible (ie Pierre from Simple Plan & BJA from Green Day). Able to sing in tune. can write lyrics & help on the melodies.

Obviously owning your own instruments is a must. Having transportation is a bonus (not a must!). Depends on where everyone else are located then i can decide where to rehearse (hopefully anywhere around Subang Jaya/Sunway/Puchong)
