Hi guys, i'm currently looking for like-minded people to start up a pop-punk/mainstream pop rock side project. I'm a 2nd guitarist and can do backup vocals. Influenced by New Found Glory, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Billy Talent, Simple Plan, Green Day..etc. I'm currently playing with Lies Left Untold and i just wanna do stuff that's more fun and laid back. Hoping that this project will turn out to be something serious once the line-up's complete.
Looking for (male/female doesn't matter):

- Drummer --> Advantage for those able to play double pedal
- Lead Guitarist --> Don't need to be a super technical & kaki shredding.
- Bassist--> Knows the basics already enough. Learn together along the way.
- Vocalist --> Has attitude, has a punk yet poppy voice (ie Pierre from Simple Plan & BJA from Green Day). Able to sing in tune. can write lyrics & help on the melodies.

Obviously owning your own instruments is a must. Having transportation is a bonus (not a must!). Depends on where everyone else are located then i can decide where to rehearse (hopefully anywhere around Subang Jaya/Sunway/Puchong)

We play metallica rock kinda stuff. Also interested in do some lovey dovey stuff.

Heavy metal AND lovey dovey? Not to judge but that's some incongruity right there! 

Anyhow, I usually lean more towards ballads and jazzy kinda relaxing music ie. Michael Buble etc......Think that'd do?

Jazz? Difficult leh.. Rock ballad stuff like scorpions ok? U know.. "You and I", "Wind of changes"... very nice music also not the loud and noisy stuff.. Love songs.. rock.. etc

Then brutal guitarist and versatile drummer - me. Ok r? Or you prefer have big bands with keyboard, bassist and all that? Difficult find bassist le but working hard I believe when the band establish easier to get ppl join. All are pasionate about music and motivated to get the band moving ppl.

Then once can hit few songs, we perform to increaase our name and tour around playing gigs and events. All from Penang except you from Ipoh so will be special.

Hahaha can la I guess, no harm in trying right? So long as my vocals can suit your style of play. 
In any case, what are some of the influences that you'd like? To be honest I have a wide range of interests including Matchbox Twenty, One Republic, etc. You've any experience in performing? 

I have 1 experience perform but I believe with our new passionate and motivated band, will have much more chance to increase our performer ability. It very difficult to have a band that can stick together and improve together. Usually one member quit then band start to fall.

Im same like you have wide range of interest. Metallica, scorpions, etc etc. I thinm the brutal guitarist also have wide range of interest. Just im not so good at appreciate jazz cos cannot feel the melody and music.

Cool, cool. Got YouTube sample ah? Then can work on some cool songs to start out with. Scorpions have this really nasal 'nyaring' voice hahaha. But yeah they were great back in the heydays of ROCK!

Me and my friend started out forming a band early last year. It has been tough. It was difficult finding musicians who wanted to play rock and roll and had the same band influences like we did. Thru persistence, we did find many who came and jammed with us, few drummers, few bassist, few vocalist.... at the back of our minds we knew what kind of musicians we wanted and were looking for, months passed before we found a Bassist that was awesome. He had club playing background and knows his instrument well and we saw passion. Now we had a Bassist! We kept searching for that "drummer" that we wanted...kept jamming with different drummers and one day there he was This chap had groove. Not just skills but groove. We knew he was the one. So now we had all the backing musicians.....one thing was missing....the Frontman..the Face of the Band.....the Vocalist.



We kept jamming to find that vocalist that has that uniqueness, that kinda 'tone' that charisma and passion. I'm writing this to invite Singers/Vocalist to come jam with us and be apart of the band. Our band's focus is not on making money or playing in clubs day in day out. We will do Open Mics, Gigs etc but most importantly we must play good music. Since we are not a club band we play what we like no red tape. We currently do  a kinda weird selection of songs. Weird in the sense that the taste is all over the place. Which we think in good because its not limiting. We play the following songs from the following bands/artistes now, CCR, Eagles, Eric Capton, Bon Jovi, 3 Doors Down, GnR, Search, Wings, Nickleback, Scorpions, Creed
To sum things up if you love singing and think you like to jam with us, pm me. Your Race or Age does not matter. Importantly is you jam with us, we audition you and you audition us. Well if it doesn't marry, at least you've got yourself 4 new friends.
