It is an old house; I plan not to run whole new piping. So, trying to retrofit so both T2 and T3 will have water.

Nevertheless, I have already finished installing the pump based on the diagram shown. Now facing pump running on/off every minute, already check no leaking and now suspecting the pressure in the pipe issue. If it is a pressure issue is there a way to overcome this?

The pump must be install after OT. not below the ground level. There is different pump for ground level.

Hi all, I have a ‘brand new’ GRUNDFOS CMB PM1 BOOSTER , 0.75HP for sale (original price RM2.xK) . It was Recommended by plumber A, Installed on 20 Jan 2023 and unfortunately led to burst and pipe leak due to old piping at my house and it’s true the water pressure is very strong and not suitable for my house. Haven’t been used since it causes water leak. Seeked a second opinion who recommended a less powerful pump to avoid water leak. thus I’m trying to let go this literally unused pump at discounted price RM1.9K . No box , Have warranty card , not registered yet . So Still valid for 2 years warranty . Please contact if interested

Hi sifus, please advise!

My water pump Grundfos CM3-4PM1 15 is running non-stop while am not using any tap water.

When I turn off the power switch and turn it back on, the pump starts running and the "pump on" light indicator is on. But a few seconds later the "pump on" light indicator turn off.

Checked everywhere and cannot find any leakage.

Consulted one of authorized service panel through phone calling and was told to replace a new PM1 due to suspect controller failure.
Is there anything to do with the built-in non-return valve that might causes the failure?

Did a survey new PM1 is costing around RM5xx. Want to know if any alternative OEM/ brand which compatible and lower cost? Thank you

If you are staying in a bungalow or big house with 7 or more bathrooms. The more bathrooms = more water usage = u need a bigger pump. However, the bigger the pump = the higher the risk of pipe burst. So if u are worried about this, can consider getting INVERTER water pump.

Grundfos CMBE5-62 will automatically adjust the pressure and speed up when there is more demand for water. Instead of buying 1 big pump that always go FULL SPEED given too much stress on the pipes, get inverter pump, it supplies the perfect water pressure  based on demand.

For Spec can other models

Is there a possibility that water pressure become lower after installing a pump or outdoor water filter?
I rmb before moving in my new house the water pressure of my toilet sink (both upstairs and downstairs) is not as small as now. The pump and water filter were installed after I moved in. The water pressure of shower head is okay tho.

if in the same bathroom, shower ok but tap (sink or basin area) low pressure = tap clogged, check the aerator
