Anyone can share the contact for repair services?
My CM-PT only last for 4 years and now totally no function at all, need to call for checking.

Double storey with 2 bathrooms upstairs and garden water host required water pump serving.  What is your recommendation ?  My current unit Wilo MHIL503-E-1-230-50-2 failed a few rounds with repaired.  The repaired fees is killing.  I am thinking it is time to replace. 

What is your recommendation ?

The water pump very hard to trigger whereby I need to on a lot of water tap to trigger like made person then only it start to work.  Now totally not working at all even though i press reset button a few rounds.

Could you please help ?

Want to ask if anyone here experiences everytime water pump start, the whole discharge pipe shake like massive vibration (whole house can hear)

House equipped with solar system with grundfos water pump. The problem happened on both hot and cold water. It only happened after 5 years since we move in, before this everything works well.

Anyone please advice what is the problem it be.

I owned a 2 storey house with 3 bathroom. I would like to ask a few question:

1. My house water pressure right now seems to be ok from the direct water to the kitchen sink, washing machine and also to fill up the tank at rooftop slab for now. The neighborhood only have half resident for now, and maybe by next year every resident will start living in the area, will it effect the water pressure to my house?

2. Both of my second floor bathroom have a very low water pressure, so everytime I need to take a shower I need to run downstairs for shower. A plumber recommend me to setup a waterpump at the rooftop near to the tank so that it can give more pressure to the water for my upstairs bathroom. After Ive done the power point for the rooftop suddenly he changed his mind and said that it is dangerous if I put a waterpump at the rooftop slab (it may flooded the area if the waterpump is broken) and hard to maintain. So Im kind of puzzled and trying to research if it is true that waterpump should not be at the rooftop or not because if its true then Ive wasted money from his previous recommendation. So It will be very much helpful if you guys can share your experience with me.

3. Other plumber suggest to bypassing direct water to the tank and used direct water all over the house and use only one waterpump at the car porch area which I cannot imagine on how the system works. Is it better this way? or I just put a waterpump at the rooftop is enough?

4. Was about to buy a hitachi water pump until I stumble into this forum, don't know about this brand but I wonder what is the best pump to cover a two storey house with 3 bathroom. Thank you in advance

I just got back from the store that sell grundfos here and he said that I should put it in a cover. If I buy grundfos does it include the cover altogether or I need to buy them separately? If separately where I can get one?

Hi guys, wanna ask if set timer by using hager eh711 to turn off at night time, will this harm the water pump?

Recommendation required for Grundfos pump for 6 bathrooms with rain shower and  2 garden taps. Not all bathrooms used at the same time. Presently using model CH4-40PT. Is CM5-4 suitable? Can use with PM2 together with Pressure Tank? My Pressure Tank recently replaced with new. Intend to reuse tank if possible.
How much it cost ie pump with PM2.

Hi guys, for grunfos scala 2, what actually will trigger the "leaking signal" ? Will situation like continuous pump water to tank while using water in tank , then it keep pumping and trigger the "leaking signal" ?

hi sifu here, have a question regarding water quality.

I planned to install water pump and is replacing all piping in the house.
The contractor intended to source all outlet from tank since there is a pump for high pressure.

But someone told me that it is not recommended to use tank water as drinking water and better to use the direct fresh water from outside. Is this true????

I am comparing between Scala 2, CM3-5PM1 and Uni E CM3-5.

After talk to some re-seller, they said that Scala 2 is actually having a lower noise level compare to CM3-5PM1? so which one is true actually?

Also been told that Scala 2 having electrical board issue and leakage issue when it first introduce to Malaysia market back in 2017. Have this quality issue being improve? Cause I planning to install the pump on the roof, if there is leakage, it won't be easy to notice.

Understood that the pressure tank that use on Uni E CM3-5 need to check the pressure at least once a year, is this a chargeable service by Grundfos? How much normally will it be? Is is possible to DIY?

If comparing between Scala 2 and cm3-5, in terms on maintenance free, which one is better?

I know scala2 is built to be installed outdoor, for cm3-5, do we need to build a shed if we were to install it outdoor?

The grundfos pneumatic tank. Can it be installed on other brand pump? Will it works the same?

@zheilwane sifu: I am considering to replace my existing pump with Grundfos Scala 2 as my current pump does not work well (too less pressure) at the 3rd floor. Reason for considering Scala 2 is becoz this model has variable speed as i am worried about too strong pressure and the strain on my piping which seemed to be problem in my neighborhood (pipe bursting at the joints just next to tangki, due to piping design fault).

After checking the internet, i read there was a design flaw in earlier versions of Scala 2 prior to batch 1901 (i.e. any unit made prior to week 1, 2019): Grundfos Bulletin Number: SC-19-08-03.

My questions are: (1) Whether the Scala 2 is suitable for my environment (5 baths, 3 storey with rain shower but max only 2 baths are used simultaneously), and taking into consideration the piping design fault?
(2) Whether the newly re-engineered Scala 2 (batch 1902 onward) managed to resolve the design flaw issue which caused leakages and breakdown after sometime?

Hi, I recently purchased a Grundfos CM3-5PM1 pump from online store, successfully install it..its working..
but produce quite loud sound and vibration (even louder than my previous 1HP Tsunami pump).
The pump was installed inside the roof, on top of plywood platform layered with rubber pad (free gift) in between.

Currently Im in the process of registering the ewarranty at www.grundfos-ewarranty.com.my
but havent completed yet due to missing invoice.

1. Am I correct to assume the pump is genuine if the warranty registration is accepted?
2. Is there any other way I could verified that my pump is genuine not an imitation?

Just to provide an update, i did manage to get copy of invoice from the online store
and the e-warranty registration is successful. So I guess its a genuine product.

Now, I just need to figure out what is causing the loud vibration.
My suspect.. it could be because of my attic wooden frame structure causing
the vibration from the pump to be amplified.

Does anyone have suggestion, how to improve the setup?
