Anybody know how to DIY service the CM5-4PT diagphram pressure tank? Like how to pump air in and to what pressure?

Plan to DIY maintain my Grundfos pump.

Didnt know that there's a pressure tank that need some maintenance. Thot that the pump is just pure pump only.  How often did you need to reset the pressure?

Thanks. Just need a bit more info, do you know the steps to fill up the tank? Can use like a mini air compressor or a bicycle tire pump?

Anyone know alternative pump service people for Grundfos pump? Mine does not want to switch off and intermittently the water that comes out is hot. Called Grundfos and they only can come on Monday. (Service Charge RM180 and extra for parts changed)
Weekend without pump banyak susah.

Ok Bro thanks. As soon as i heard it continuously running i stopped it and hv switched it on  to test occasionally to see if ok or not.
I hope Mech Seal not spoilt.(No leaks at ceiling where pump is located) fingers crossed. No choice hv to wait for Grundfos on Monday to see verdict.
If new pump required will contact you. Old pump asl bought from you.

my house is single story, but the direct water pressure is not consistent..sometime good pressure, sometime less pressure.

can recommend the suitable type of pump?

Any recommendations on which Grundfos water pump to use for 3.5 story house with 5 bathroom. All using rain and hand shower with central water heater.

My water pump died momentarily this morning. 1st time since moving in a year ago.

My area has very bad water pressure so much so i have to use heaters with built in pump else the water pressure is a good as useless. I am looking to fix this pump to improve the water pressure for my entire house.

I have been using a CH2-50 Grundfos pump and looking for a replacement. Have been using it for almost 10 years. Can you please recommend an equivalent model or a more suitable model  for this based on the current models available from Grundfos. I have 4 bathrooms that use this pump (although mostly not at the same time) and my plummer commended that its a bit too strong. Please advise. Thank you.

I am staying in Condominium and the water pressure is just normal volume,  i like to bath with more heavy water pressure.

can i install CM3-5PM1 after my in house water meter?  will it cause leakage and burst toward new PVC piping in the unit?

is this pump having water pressure control? appreciate for the answer . thanks.

My family experience with Grundfos pump at home:

I moved into a 3 storey house near 10 years ago, installed a Grundfos CH2-50 from my water tank outlet during renovation and been using it ever since. The water tank area and all the outlet pipes are in open air subject to sun and rain in my roof area, so the pipes all suffer some form of sun and rain. As the years go by, my dad and I have to cut and repair cracked pipes due to the high pressure and exposed pipes. We have so many rejoints now that we just replaced a full set of all the piping once early this year. Just to be clear, all our pipes are rated class 7.

Not to scare anyone away from using Grundfos pumps, but they are a powerful and highly durable workhorse. Just make sure you know where all your pipes run, cuz as your pipes age it may crack and some joints may also come loose due to vibration. Always pay attention to your pump making noise, if it makes noise too frequently even when no one has been using any water for some time, then u potentially have a pipe leak somewhere.

zheilwane did ur shop carry any grunfos water pump? Need it for single story house with 2 bathroom.

If bought cm3-4pm1, the pump need to be installed under roof? Can't be outdoor?
