Hi guys..

How long does it take Citibank to approve its credit card application?
I got mine approved in just 3 or 4 working days. Received my card via Poslaju on the 7th day (counted from the day i submitted my application).

We should complain to both KFC and CIMB. It is because of the promotion in CIMB website I go to KFC, but at KFC I cannot use my CIMB card. Then why is CIMB promoting KFC when it does not benefit CIMB Customers?
The funniest thing about the KFC outlet in my neighborhood is that they already removed all the credit card processing terminals early last year but just last week, i saw this banner about some sort of discount if you use your CIMB Bank MasterCard there rclxub.gif

Mine is Citibank and Direct Access.
Citibank doesn't offer online secondary password such as Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode. Anyway, you probably mean the CVV ? Which is the 3-digit at the back of your card.

This is good news. Miles - how is this compared to HSBC?
My MasterCard gets 7% discount at the checkout page. For Platinum, it's 6% and 5% for Gold and Classic cards. Not sure which category the Signature falls on but i guess it's 6% like Platinum.

HSBC got 10% off
The 10% off promotion is applicable only to very few selected hotels in certain countries and promotion period usually is very short. The 5%-7% off is available to all hotels booked through Agoda (must access Agoda site through HSBC Home&Away website). The discount will be automatically reflected on the checkout page after you've entered your HSBC credit card numbers.

By the way, HSBC Home&Away website states that this 5%-7% is like a limited time promotion but from my experience is that it's more like a year-round offer. The HSBC Group has been offering this Agoda promotion for a veeeeeeeeeeeeery long time smile.gif

Thanks. Didn't think of clicking the page when i was searching for it last night sweat.gif

@Gen-X, i guess HSBC is still better in this case as their Agoda promotion is valid for a longer period of time and they have been extending it over and over again smile.gif
