Hi all, am new to this, wish to know how to download the ipsw file? i download the ios4.3.2 from link on 1st page but it become a .zip file, how to make it become ipsw file so i can jb it? or anything i do wrong here?

Dont unzip the file, Just change the file extension from ".zip" to ".ipsw".

That only restore the apps but not the game save.

Successfully enabled multitouch gestures on both my iPad1 and iPhone 3GS

is it need to done before download? or after download can change? because when download time is download as win rar zip file... now dono how to change it... or need redownload again?

using windows xp or 7 ?

if windows seven , pls enable show file extension and change .zip into .ipsw

if windows xp , you can rename the file extension from .zip into .ipsw straight away

if window vista then how?

It should be done after downloaded. Winrar? Normally it should be in .zip format, if you can't see your extension name, go to your window(I assumed you're using Window) tool>"folder option">view tab and untick "hidden extension for known file types" and press apply. You should see the extension name for every file in your window now, just highlight the ".zip" extension and change it to ".ipsw".

Welcome to the JB community. I suggest aafter Jailbreaking your device, install "sbsetting" for shortcut toggles, "winterboard" for themes, "switchermod" for fast closing app in multitasking, "UAfaker" for faking safari as deskstop safari, "cydelete" for deleteing cydia's apps like normal apps...etc. You can easily find those in cydia.

Only if you know how to use it coz it kinda handy in some cases, when Friendly is down few days ago UA faker enable me to log into Friendly and it works as normal as before.

I'm just felling weird why u guys wanna go through all the hassle to enable the multi gesture for the iPad.
U can do it by just installing the "enable multi gestures theme" in Cydia and that's it!
