Since some people insist that Jailbreaking is lead to piracy, I think it should end this thread for good. You guys can open a jailbreak thread of your own but do keep the thread clean without any piracy discussion.

Hey that's good news. Jailbreaking enables the owners to use their ipads to the full potential. And that's a legitimate good thing!

1. Sbsettings Cydia really works for iPad? Cos it looks like for iPhone version..lol I want to use it to fully control the 3G off/on.
2. Any security patch via Cydia? I only know of the PDF patch for iPhone .
3. Any other utilities under Cydia that will help make iPad more flexible and total usage control?

Cannot live without SBSettings ..... dunno if my iPad 2 will ever be Jailbroken coz never managed to get the 4.3 SHSH saved anyway (by the time I opened the box, Apple oledi come out with 4.3.1 and stopped signing 4.3 ... buggers)

So even if dev-team come out with Comex iPad 2 jailbreak, still cannot jailbreak one (unless it's a userland jailbreak ..... like spirit ...)

Have jailbreak my ipad 1gen 4.3.1 FW yesterday night with redsn0w and everything goes fine except a weird glitch while entering DFU mode. Also installed SBSettings, UAFaker and Winterboard from Cydia, seems everything running with no prob atm and Multi Gesture still working as well.

It's an unthetered jailbreak for 4.3.1 and atm it's only for iPad gen 1.

Can anyone tell or show me the link that how to tether a blackberry phone to the ipad 2? As what i know, i have to JB the ipad 2 1st oni can do that.....

What I meant was that the Comex exploit works for 4.3 but Apple has closed that loophole (leading to Comex speculating that Apple has a spy in the JB community) so if there is going to be a Jailbreak for iPad 2, most likely they will release it for 4.3 ONLY.

Now, the problem is if it's something that has to do with reloading your 4.3, you won;t be able to do that for those that did not save their SHSH as Apple no longer signs 4.3 (they are only signing 4.3.1) so unless it's a straight userland JB like Spirit, then me especially is screwed. I have 4.3 on my iPad and I cannot restore or reload 4.3 as I missed the window when Apple was still signing 4.3 to save my SHSHs ....

Let's hope it's a userland jailbreak.

just upgrade my ipad to 4.3.1 and jailbroken it ...took me sometime to enable the mutitasking gesture ...

Multi gestures are disabled by developers arent they ?

Youve got to do some "tweaks" to re enable them
