You're right. I was just pointing out that you shouldn't waste your money on binocams for astrophotography. It's okay for general sight seeing and some birding activities, since the main feature of the binocam is the 2-in-1 compactness. Binocams with larger apertures than 32mm have mostly been discontinued in the market. That indicates something, doesn't it?
You can easily pick up a good pair of 7x50 binos instead of a binocam and still have cash to spare.
Happy shopping!
okay, thx I get the point now. It's really confusing with the different selection that a beginner may pick. Nevertheless answers like these helps. So binocam are mostly for birding or safari adventures but not the right choice if to go with astrophotography

A 7*50 is the best beginner binocular. You can visit www.grandeyes.com.hk (Anthony). He is a great dealer. Enquire him about the 7*50 binocular.

erm Mr LKM, the link u gave me 'not found'
I been to a shop and found 3 types of brands of 7x50 bino, Nikon (RM388), Pioneer (RM238) and another which I forgot the brand edi (RM238). The more reliable one here would be Nikon? I need to search for the type of lens used I guess...
Not easy to find at my place here
Was looking online for an astronomy club or observatory but seems like I can't find any here in KK. There goes my wish to try and 'tumpang' to see the stars
