QUOTE(cucikaki @ May 12 2020, 03:10 PM) Damn i still have not received for withdrawal done on 6 May.SSPN there tarikh mohon 6 May status SELESAI. Penyata Akaun there recorded withdrawal 8 May already deducted money. Bank account until now still not yet received money. Actually it's my spouse SSPN and i withdraw straight into my own bank account. The bank account owner name is different with SSPN owner account. Will that have issue do the withdrawal check owner name? Because there were no field to key-in bank account owner's name. |

Just login to SSPN and noticed the money reversed back already. can withdraw again. But by right if reversed it should be next working day, but that depends how fast SSPN updates the record i guess. So SSPN should have place a big big notice there if not allow withdrawal to different bank account owner |

QUOTE(owj @ May 16 2020, 04:39 PM) OK. To summarize my understanding: BI can just transfer online no need use ATM. Also RM0.50 charges applied1. Open an BSA in BI with debit card and link to SSPN-i (no RM8/year) 2. Do immediate withdrawal at RM1500/transaction via ATM with RM0.50/transaction Option 2: 1. Submit withdrawal request through SSPN online and this will take 1 business day earliest. Any bank accounts are accepted 2. Any charges??? So the difference between 1 and 2 is the charges and turnaround time. SSPN online may take more than 1 day see luck. No charges. |

QUOTE(owj @ May 21 2020, 12:48 PM) Hi all. A question for those who are claiming RM8000 income tax relief. I want to ask about the situation below: Not eligible. You will need to deposit extra 2K (to match the withdrawal 20K) then any extra deposits only eligible.2018 - Withdraw rm20K. Deposit RM10K. No tax relief allowed since withdrawal more than deposit 2019 - Withdraw RM0. Deposit RM8K. For year 2019 can I obtain RM8K tax relief, although for 2018 the nett deposit is -RM10K? Thumb of rule is the total available funds must be more than what previous years accumulated. |

QUOTE(wongmunkeong @ May 21 2020, 02:00 PM) it's total accumulated withdrawal throughout all years? Err all these while its been like that no meh?new info from PTPTN ka? clarifying coz the officer told be it was yoy only as in: Year 11 i took out 60K - no tax relief Year 12 i put in 8K - tax relief on 8K fully So meaning if Year 1 i put in 8K then Year 2 take out 8K (Balance 0) and then put in 8K (balance 8K) so will eligible for tax relief Year 2? |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ May 21 2020, 02:25 PM) So confident.... but wrong. So why not Year 2?Your example is not the same as the one you were replying to. Read carefully again. If Year 1 you put in 8k, Year 2 you take out 8k, then year 3 put 8k, both years 1 and 3 will be eligible. That's more like the mentioned situation. Yours totally different. QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ May 21 2020, 02:57 PM) Yeah i was wondering this too. If this true then my above comments are wrong. |

Year 1 +8K net net; Year 2 -8k then +8K, net net 0 which is very different from the Q U responded to below Anyhow.. my personal plan was to rob all except $20 for Year X thus forgoing tax relief, then year X+1 re-start, ie. based on yoy net net tax relief, ie. resets yearly. that's why i thought something new U found - looks more like misunderstanding or mixed-understanding-response EDIT /PS: Based on your statement "Thumb of rule is the total available funds must be more than what previous years accumulated." - it clearly shows U are stating multi-years accumulated net net wor.. urgh.. so, U found new info? can share from where ar? i gotta replan if so. REFERENCES BELOW Getting back to the question from owj, he said he withdrawn 20K and deposit 10K on the same year. So this is my assumption since he didn't give full details. 2014 net balance 0 2015 net balance 8K (eligible 8K) 2016 net balance 16K (eligible 8K) 2017 net balance 24K (eligilble 8K) 2018 withdrawn 20K, deposit 10K net balance 14K (shortfall -10K) (not eligible) 2019 net balance 14K + deposit 8K net balance 22K (still shortfall -2K) (not eligible) 2020 net balance 22K + 8K (eligible 6K) My understanding is wrong? So my understand is same as how !@#$%^ understands, unless like what he asked "means can reset it to 0 by skipping a year?" then my understanding is wrong. PS/added: ok, clarity found direct from the tax man itself - bolded is mine, for easy reading http://www.hasil.gov.my/bt_goindex.php?bt_...sequ=1&bt_lgv=2 10 Net saving in SSPN's scheme (total deposit in year 2018 MINUS total withdrawal in year 2018) QUOTE(Barricade @ May 21 2020, 07:49 PM) Well im wrong then because i didnt know it can "reset" like that. And atleast 3 ppl here (myself included) that didnt know this.Dont need to act smart or sarcastic because im wrong, im just trying to help to the best of my knowledge. Since i've learned new info now when other ppl ask the same question i will able to answer differently. |

QUOTE(kochin @ Jul 22 2020, 12:27 PM) thank but currently that is the only sole source. Isnt the campaign already ended? or got new one i didnt know?would appreciate if there are more collaborated stories of the same. and a bit doubtful if just one day within the campaign period. was thinking to play safe, ideally would deposit one week before the campaign ends and then with draw the week AFTER the campaign ended. |
