QUOTE(MUM @ Feb 13 2020, 05:29 PM) while waiting for his response, I kay poh abit... From the TnC:-to me, it looks like this.... if you contribute RM8k within the campaign period, you will get 1% of this RM8k + the dividend to be announce next year (ex: 4% pa) but if you contribute RM8k 8. So it should be max RM8K of bonus on top of dividend suppose to get.. Also I wonder how they calculate the 1%... if put in 30.Apr (last day of campaign) then withdraw after that (say 1.May), can still entitle the 1% of the simpanan? |

QUOTE(MGM @ Apr 24 2020, 01:48 PM) I am not taking risk to deposit at last minute, so I deposited 40k from 2 bank accounts last night and 30k from OCBC today. So transfer by FPX the deposit updated instantly in the SSPN Penyata right?Paid via ptptn portal using FPX, amount updated instantly n no charges, unlike BI 50 sen per transfer. Only thing is I have to do multiple transfer of <10k for ocbc since I am not using One Token. So you will keep until receiving the 1%.. This post has been edited by wym6977: Apr 24 2020, 03:06 PM |

QUOTE(snowswc @ Apr 29 2020, 10:11 PM) I am new to this but after reading the discussion here. May consider Opus for your intention, which is also worth for investment purpose..May I know what should I apply sspni or sspni plus? I am married with no kid. Is it either one will do? 1) can I open the sspn account via online? 2) to open a BI account and link to sspn account will give me the flexibility to withdraw the money anytime right? 3) may I know how many times I can pay the sspn using boost? Frankly speaking, my intention is not to save money in sspn but wanted to withdraw my money from boost because they have reduced from 1500 to 200 and soon this withdrawal function will be removed as per ringgitplus news update. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4886774 |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ May 16 2020, 12:01 AM) Just login to SSPN and noticed the money reversed back already. can withdraw again. Ya it only allow to transfer to own name account....actually good for security reason. So SSPN should have place a big big notice there if not allow withdrawal to different bank account owner Agree that they should make it clear in the withdrawal page... |

QUOTE(voonmingloo @ May 23 2020, 01:53 PM) Thought 4% was for last year calculation. This whole year 2020 already announced 4% again? If yes, damm good. If this year they "already" announced 4% everyone will flood SSPN liao.. Pretty sure this year (2020) dividend will be <4% looking at the FD rate now... QUOTE(lowyat101 @ Apr 24 2021, 11:38 PM) now only i know can use shopeepay for sspn, i'm looking into the best strategy. There is a online dividend calculator in SSPN website, it explains well how the dividend was calculated.previously only load in 6k / 8k by the year end for the income tax relief. since there's limitation in the shopeepay, i'm thinking of doing it on a monthly basis. may i know is the sspn-i interest calculated based on daily or monthly? and if it's monthly, meaning that i should "pay" it in the last day of the month so that can get the interest for the next month right? thanks https://www.ptptn.gov.my/KalkulatorDividen/Utama beLIEve liked this post

QUOTE(mrbean12345 @ Jul 22 2021, 11:19 AM) Guys, I dont get it, this SSPN allow us to withdraw whenever we want? Not only when our kids going to uni? Do not assume the dividend will be 4% ya, it is not guarantee ...The main purpose for SSPN is to encourage education saving with tax incentives. If it allow us to withdraw anytime, why are there still many people dont invest money in SSPN? it's 4%, much higher than FD tho. What am I missing out? |

Without tax relief, guess many will not continue with SSPN...It's a pity they wasted all the past years effort to promote SSPN. Gov should maintain the tax relief at least targeted to certain income group.
