QUOTE(lwliam @ May 30 2011, 12:42 AM) ahpingko, when one uses gel, they dont use AWB anymore... you will need to set the WB manually... 1stly, with your tests that you've done, you're doing it wrong. coz you will need a subject which is lighted by your 'gel'ed flash, then the background which is lighted with tungsten/fluorescent (and not a wall) i see...i will try more....thx thx... |

QUOTE(chiahau @ Jun 4 2011, 02:05 PM) Don't drink or your SSS will work very hard to compensate the pictures you are taking lol.. Haha..sure..i know my limits..btw, i hate ppl who show off and giving me instructions where his photos cannot impress me or telling me something that i already know or is incorrect and as if it is an advice from pro..holding cheapo nikon without a flashgun somemore.. Have a nice day shooting then XP Added on June 4, 2011, 2:16 pm QUOTE(lwliam @ Jun 4 2011, 02:12 PM) If you're the paid official photog, u have the rights to ask others to move aside while you line up your shot. I m not paid one..coz is my gf's bro wedding..but i am helping as an official photog as appointed by her dad, or future "dad-in-law".. But if you're just a relative relation asked to shoot, looks like you have to live with that. Just try your best and smile. This post has been edited by ahpingko: Jun 4 2011, 02:16 PM |

QUOTE(chiahau @ Jun 4 2011, 02:37 PM) He using FF ma, that's why wider lol. Or maybe coz he's too pro already, can widen the lens without the need to go FF lol. wat FF, just a very cheapo entry nikon...somemore big mouth..i really don like that...Regardless, just have fun shooting. I know I liked it when I shoot weddings and events QUOTE(ReasonsofThanatos @ Jun 4 2011, 04:21 PM) seriously, I've just helped shot my cousin's wedding last week, it's really tiring...not to mention being a 1st timer I pretty much has no idea what to expect, like d flow of d ceremony, people involved, this n that...ended up just being asked to take photo when they r doing something major. =.=" n with space constrain n poor timings most of d pics doesnt satisfy me, realised this during pp...sigh.. damn tiring man..this my 2nd time only...most pic is like simply shoot that kind...coz ppl just ask me shoot here shoot there...family group photos...etc...lol...nevertheless, i am trying to get something special whenever i can...mostly outcome will be around 5-6 nice only...if go outdoor portrait, then will be much better...later shoot dinner....i no need to eat already.. |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Jun 10 2011, 10:16 PM) you should've clone stamped out the indentation on the bridge of her nose made by the glasses. it looks weird... i only have 2-3 lens...yes..haha...normally i bring my 18-55,75-300, 30mm, 50mm...my sling bag is super heavy...damn pain my on my shoulder..so i wanted to get a backpack which have better weight distribution(coz on both side of shoulder ma)..and i only got 1 tripod..not so heavy la...around 1kg++ only..2nd pic needs more fill light on her face and neck unless you have like only 2-3 lenses, then by all means, bring them all... else, you'll just regret it. just take all those that are able to cover all range. tell you what, if i were you, i'd only bring camera (ditch the grip, keep the extra battery in the bag and swap batteries manually), flash (optional, yes its optional coz you have a built in to use when in emergency situations), your, 18-55, 75-300 and 30mm macro. ditch the 50mm.. don't forget a tripod, lightweight... dont lug around a 20 kilo manfrotto and go walking all day QUOTE(Newbieeeeee @ Jun 10 2011, 10:18 PM) Warranty is for the zips. Others im not sure. Lowepro is dammmmm expensive kay. For me, i'd rather get a good and cheap one, and change regularly rather than to get a superb one and use for my whole life. only for zips? QUOTE(lwliam @ Jun 10 2011, 10:18 PM) any suggestion from u?...which bagpack is suitable..best if got laptop slots...budget max 400 only....any good shop? |

QUOTE(hiansitt @ Jun 11 2011, 12:12 AM) woah.. it take 2 months for this thread.. My bagman sling bag at 1st also hard one..but nw all padding become soft..but the outer layer of the bag really durable.. and should end soon after albnok on.. ahpingko, bagman bag also got good and bad copy for sling bag (CA-05 if not wrong) i bought a good one (old type), but my friend bought a same model, but newer type, it deformed/very soft while mine is not.. check the padding thickness and hardness first.. |
