Do I have to inform the service providers which I signed up via MB AutoPay Bill when I terminated the credit card? I thought it is not necessary as long as I continue paying up the bills by any other means.
Any experience?

Question, if I apply for credit card in both companies, then both approved and they sent to me house address. Then I feel like cancelling one of them, I have not used it or activated it before. Can I cancel it just like that? Do I incur any cost? How do I do it?

I just make a phone call to cancel my cards. If they ask me to walk in or pass them the card, I tell them I mail it to them long long time ago already. Very fast, no hassle. If they send me statement or anything funny, I just call and complain. All the calls are recorded anyway.

I sent the termination letter to CIMB using email instead of fax. The cancellation request has been forwarded to the respective department.

Although I had the highest credit limit among all credit cards for this card, but not much benefits can get from DA anymore..

I called EON customer service to terminate my card two weeks ago. Now, I can't login using their internet banking.
Is this means that my card had terminated already?

I want to cancel my Standard Chartered card, i already write in many time they dint respone. Call in always say will call me back. So boring with they service. Any one can advice me what i can do ????

Ocbc bank can call up to cancel their card. Just cancel mine yesterday.

Just call HLB to cancel my ex-Eon bank credit card. No question asked, they just say OK, thank you, will send me the confirmation letter for the card cancellation without trying to retain me

Wanted to know..if I cancel 1 credit card, I need to clear the outstanding balance right?
After I terminate, bank will send me bill statement right? what if I didn't clear the outstanding balance in 1 shot? the bank will charge me interest or what?

Oh my god..wanted to cancel my card before 1 Jan 2012..as maximum 2 cards per person only starting next year..

I also call to cancel my Petronas Visa yesterday. The CS ask me to 'self destroy' the card.    I have request to transfer all my TP as well.
Other than from the TP, how do we know the card is being cancelled? From M2U just looks like normal.

P/s: I have requested the CS to transfer my TP upon collecting my 2card, however until today nothing is done. So I ask thr CS, she said if the card still active, they can't adjust the TP.
