yea funny thing..it all started when i restored backups from titanium..

same here, last time when I switch from other rom to MIUI and it started also when restore backups from titanium.
some advise the best is restore app only, don't included data. and restore max about 20 but dun't do in big bulk of apps.

if your miui quite laggy, might give a try to change the vm heap size to larger. I will said MIUI 1.4.15 now are stable and 3rd edition UI are great.

already saw before got somebody suggest why LYN dun have android app like tapatalk, miui-dev, xda forum app.

to increased read cache for better SD card access, can modified the cache size. default is only 128KB, i changed to 2048.
it's really improving the speed.

I guess Official Market are safe but jack sparrow Market might no guarantee for unknown apps. just install Lockout(or any other good AV) and scan occasional when u free.. unless u know very well what is app/source you download/install not from market, should be no problem.

just make sure don't mesh between amonra and cwm should be fine.

not sure about ubuntu. but for windows, you're doing the right thing at first which is start from driver. how to check on this is, open the device manager, make sure there is Android Phone on top of the list without any question mark. the best way is boot your phone into fastboot, then update driver manually from device manager. i assume you know how to google the android driver.

once no driver issue in the device manager, then only able to continue root. please check ur device is which version of PVT, might be little different way from it...

I never try celcom before. what i heard before is celcom have good coverage signal but customer service and billing are quite bad.

disable the verification in recovery before flash U2.
I'm using now, so far so good. very satisfied.
MIUI-Au already tweak the basic needs instead of un-touch MIUI, good jobs.

MIUI Gingerbread still don't have FM radio yet, I guess the developer still fix it....
if you like radio, other suggestion is online radio through internet are ok. search in market
else gonna back to MIUI Froyo.
