The rumor said the prices are as below:

16GB - RM1.5k (~NT$14900)
32GB - RM1.8k (~NT$17900)

Hope the bundled keyboard will price at RM300 (~NT$3000).

All 3 of my rigs are on ASUS motherboards, with the oldest at 5 years. Still going strong and one of them is where I'm typing this from. I love their little innovations too.

Gigabyte one was fried on my 2nd rig 2-3 years back.

of course i'm serious.  well known doesn't mean it's reliable, proton is also well known in malaysia, does their brand makes them good?  i can confirm it's their motherboard's problem, because when it fried, i took out everything on it (processor, RAM, PSU) and put all of them into another brand's mobo, it worked fine until now.  3 units of Asus mobo from low spec to high spec (celeron 2 years plus, P4 and dual core not more than 2 years) also faced this problem before and all 3 also i swapped out the cpu, rams and stuff into other mobo.  after swapping to other brand, the hardware is still running until now (24/7 as usual).  and 1 year ago i purchased a core2 duo with Asus mobo (giving it one last chance), the mobo spoiled within 6 months, brought it back for warranty, now keeping it in store room collecting dust because i bought a GIGABYTE mobo to replace it when it was sent back to claim warranty.

i swore i wouldn't use ASUS anymore.  i'm not bashing this brand, i'm stating only facts.

Added on April 5, 2011, 11:18 pmBTW the videos posted by TS looks like an excellent parody by ASUS of the US comedy "The Big Bang Theory". If you watched the show before, you can see ASUS's ad company really did a good job imitating the show, lol! Even the name, "The EeePad Story" rhymes with the original show's name.

if you read the review itself, its not bad, but the reviewer is a Apple fan, thus the rating for this tablet is totally off

I mean..

THE GOOD
Lovely IPS display with wide viewing angles
Tegra 2 dual-core processor
Dock adds connectivity, keyboard and battery life
THE BAD
Broken camera software
Highly reflective glass
Honeycomb still has issues to iron out
Ipad 2 itself has a terrible cam, ALSO a highly reflective glass, Honeycomb performs better than iOS as a tablet OS in terms of multitasking and notification system,
how does this get a 7/10 but 9/10 for iPad 2

I never did like tablets. Just don't get what the hype is all about. Haven't seen a purpose to own one. But this thing with detach keyboard and ubuntu + android dual boot makes me want it so bad!
