QUOTE(chemistry @ Jul 6 2011, 07:30 PM) it is kinda downgraded promo. Previous promo with KFC was 10% cashback, now become 5% discount on-the-spot. But now the discount is everyday right? Previously just Sunday only?

QUOTE(celaw @ Jul 10 2011, 10:03 PM) But I had been rejected by OCBC, now I just have DA and MBB2 cards... haha.. It is disappointing that cardmembers can no longer apply new card by prompting existing credit card. Fortunately I have got what I want. However, if there are even better cards (than OCBC Ti & MBB2) coming out, I think I can only watch because I am most probably not eligible for the card. I am even not eligible to hold OCBC Ti and MBB2 cards as well.

My CIMB Petronas Credit Card application was rejected. What a bummer >.< IDK why. i have RM30K pa income, already worked for 7 months for my first company, passed probation and permanent employee in MNC and if they looked through my statement -I transfer a lot of cash to my saving account. it not that I dont have money tho..
The day I went to CIMB mini branch Queensbay to apply for the card, I was entertained by an indian man (quite old actually). From my observation, he was so rush and clumsy -he never really checked my application. I intentionally left some unfilled data to check whether he really check or not. Gah -he missed it. so I quickly took back my form and filled in front of him.
to think about it, MIGHT be some problem with the guy that leads to my unsuccessful application!
I just need cc mainly for online transaction/purchasing/emergency that only limited to cc, not interested to take advantage on imaginary cash/purchasing power they offer. I prefer CIMB cash rebate over MBB2 treatpoint. But now seems like i have to apply for MBB2..
Anyone have similar problem? Can u show me some direction.

CIMB team is quite efficient in dealing with emails. If everything is in order, probably less than 2 weeks.

QUOTE(blank172 @ Jul 11 2011, 01:43 PM) Oh they offered application processing over the email? How long would it take to get the card? I applied for CIMB supplementary card via email. Card arrived in 5 working days. However, you as a fresh applicant, can expect longer processing time, perhaps 10 working days. This post has been edited by chemistry: Jul 11 2011, 07:40 PM

I was at one of the KFC outlets the other day and they told me that I actually have to purchase above RM20 in order to use Credit Card ... ended up paying cash and without the 5% discount. Also, does anybody know the status of the Sunday rebates? Did they renew it ? Otherwise, I'm plannign to cancel my CIMB card already. The only reason why I applied last time was for the Guardian and Tesco/Giant/Cold Storage rebates.

I had dinner at Flying Chilles few weeks back and got the 15% discount with CIMB CC whereas CitiBank only gets 10%. Also used my CIMB reward points to offset the bill The butter prawn was really good. This post has been edited by Gen-X: Jul 14 2011, 07:26 PM
