Hey guys here are a bit of the details of the new Pug that is going to start selling in UK in April.  Can't wait to get my hands on it when it arrives here in Malaysia.

"Peugeot has revealed the new 308. The 2012 Peugeot 308 gets a minor face-lift and some engine changes, improving fuel efficiency. A full debut will take place at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

The Peugeot 308 now has a Stop & Start system on its 112 hp 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine. They have also introduced a proper manual gearbox for this model. Weight has been reduced by 25 kg on average on all the 308 models. The entry-level 1.6-litre engine produces about 98 hp, whereas the top-spec Gti produces 200 hp. Power in the diesel engine ranges from 92 hp to 163 hp."

On the outside, there are now LED front lights with light guide as well as Xenon headlamps with titanium coloured mask.

If anyone gets word on when this is going to be released here in Malaysia, give us all a heads up thanks.

Peugeot 308 turbo has very bad resale value.

I saw a 2010 308turbo selling at RM82k. That is 36% loss in value after 2 years.

308t if you are in for a hot hatchback,408t if you need more space.

However, the 408t engine carries mods addressing better reliability!

in terms of quality, which is better? 408 got leather seat while 308 only fabric.. but 308 got moonroof..408 got space, while 308 got youth look..haihz....dilemma

In terms of quality,I'd say both the same. But in terms of standard, 308 higher. 308 manufactured to Europe standard. 408 manufactured to China standard. There are certain items,considered not important,by Chinese standards. In Europe it is important.

I am in the same dilemma like u thinking whether to take the 308t or 408t.the price diff is just 4/5k only,this car is mainly for myself,i like the sporty look of 308 but then feel like the space for 408 is more practical and more spacious too.plus 408 engine is newer with less issue according to 408 owners.

Don't go for the 408 cos of space only. Although it has a bigger boot, 308 rear seats folded down has a larger space volume. This makes it more practical to carry stuff.

If the 308 facelift had EP6CDTM engine,I'd taken this! This engine is proving to be more reliable than it's brothers!
