got my 2weeks old SG set for 880 last time.
that new one just extra 80.

not bad

1. Brand = HTC or Samsung
2. Budget. = around 500-800 ( willing to buy 2nd hand )
4. What you need in the phone = good UI

wat u use for?
htc and samsung 2nd for that price only can get HTC Hero, Legend, Galaxy Ace, Desire (maybe if u lucky enuff)

y not try Ideos X5 in ur budget.
(sorry for repeating this.. this phone is just cannot put aside in any suggestion)

RM800 can get 2nd google nexus one, htc desire, new samsung ace, new huawei ideos x5.

go for new one bro. i got nightmare buy 2nd. last time buy 2nd hero around rm600. 3 days later, digitizer fail. no warranty. need to fork out rm250 to change lcd and digitizer from wee2000. after get it back, i sell the phone for rm500. regret till now.

yup. from above list only Ideos X5 really worth ur money if u want to install many2 apps.
those 3 is quite low on internal memory which will make u pull hair quite often

Dual core phones are mainstream now. SGS2 is better.

owh. putting Android on HD2. dont see that.. haha.
my workmate's husband using CM7 on his HD2.
so far its working fine la. as for speed and smoothness
im not sure. dont have time ( and occasion ) to try and play with it yet.
448MB of ram should be fine to run CM7 only that low internal not so syok later on.

SL ways better. Just take notice that SL don't have good support from developers. Still hard to find custom rom. Even from xda. And I dunno why, it's seems SL drain battery quite fast also. My friend 2week set.
