which is more worth it in the sense of overall preformance, the i9000,or the i9001?torn between the two of them.

will there be more updates for the i9000 after 2.3.3?
*
Gaming wise, i9000 is better due to the more powerful GPU. Multitasking and productivity wise, the i9001.

Xperia's screen is a little dim for comfort according to reviews. Try other phoens like Incredible S/SGS2/Sensation if you have the budget. They're more worthwile than Xperia play. What do you mean by HD things anyway sweat.gif. If you prefer high resolution screens, try out the Motorola Atrix as Sensation's screen is a little buggy according to users here.

HTC phones are going to be Android OS, which is more customize able than the iphone. Also, most of the same apps are both on android and iphone, but usually android apps are less expensive or free because of the open development.

xplay is only good if u r serious serious want hard core gaming and with buttons (want phone 101% for games only).
other than that, no point getting the play.

yes, i agree. those who want a all round phone can get other better ones at the same price of xplay.
xplay is strictly for a small group of gamers who seriously want the buttons,
it's something like those who prefer to type on hardware keyboard instead of tap on screen.

em..yup maybe north of 1.4-1.5k

it should be worthy.

Currently using Gingerbreaded X10. Planning to give wife. Looking for a replacement. Won't be flashing custom ROM, but will root.

Screen: the bigger the better (can't get used to 3.2" after using 4")
Resolution: 480x800 and above
OS: must have official GB currently or in future
Budget: around 1k (of cos, the cheaper the better)

I can only think of the Ideos X5 for sub-1k. How does it stand up against the X10?

X5 is better than x10. smoothness. faster GPU, big 2GB internal memory , no laggy UI
just its screen is smaller @ 3.8"
not bad for @RM820 phone

Music/Sound quality wise, Galaxy S due to the better music chip. Voodoo something if I'm not mistaken.

Incredible S is still the best all rounder phone like salimbest said. I'm very satisfied with it too.

Beats the x10 in a few factors. Gaming wise, ram wise and build quality wise.

Official GB launching somewhere in Q4 according to forumers here.

nice tool.
SGS is cheaper btw and for Incredible S, u need at least 1.4k to get one.
but i still prefer Incredible S for all round performance.
