Bro all Shell stations accepts Amex

The latest transaction ( with AMEX ) was using UOB terminal. Previously , they also used UOB terminal le..( using my VISA as my AMEX being rejected)...

TM Point Taipan USJ accept amex at the counter but not at the kiosks

Maybe GSC is equipped with two terminals - EON and UOB. In order to swpie, the staff needs to use UOB terminal but some new staff may not aware of this arrangement.

Oh really? I can confirm gsc leisure mall is using EON terminal..

Does it open on weekend? Saturday halfday?

You tried the AMEx card in the machine or you just read the instruction ?

secret recipe should be no problem accepting AMEX..mayb their terminal down for temporary or wat..

do not know. They try few times. Maybe terminal down....

I got declined few days ago in an Esso petrol station as well. Amex network have too many transactions recently from MBB2 card?

Secret Recipe are using Maybank terminal it does accept Amex, so probability is the terminal faulty or phoneline problem, or ur account problem

Bro for Esso you need to go to counter to use Amex, the petrol pump doesnt accept Amex

That was not the first I've used Amex at the petrol pump and I tried at two different pumps. I've used it successfully many times at the same ESSO station before and if not mistaken,
the same pump as well.
I've also used it at many other different ESSO stations in PJ/KL and I can use it at the petrol pump as well. Which ESSO station did u go where the petrol pump does not accept AMEX?

esso accept amex at the pump la!

usually if declined at pump, then no need to go to counter, probably will be declined too, coz line down.
only esso that dont have card at pump then can go inside (i've done this at kota bharu, kelantan) ~

Your statement contradicts..

There are no way (actually very low possibility) for the machine to decline Amex only but accept Visa/Master for your so-called "line down".. If line down then it wont able to accept Visa/Master too, and all pump will down not only 1.
Most of the petrol stations are using Leased Line for petrol pump because its stable and always-on connection to bank for approval..So no way Amex down but others ok.

Why i know? Coz i have atleast 5 years experience in credit card terminals

For the counter terminal i think they are using different bank thats why it can accept Amex.
