Its not like I'm paying late. 1st month its still ok since I paid through savings account. 2nd month and 3 month, they pay late. Statement date for 2nd month on 4/6/11 but when I check my AMEX statement they only pay the 2nd month bill on 5/7. Then my 3rd month (4/7/11) bill statement already have late pay charges which around 3 ringgit. Anyone face this problem also?

this is the good way of using cc over cash (of course need self-control). don't ever use the credit while u have no cash to play. normally after the transaction i will bank in the cash into it if u see my drill closely.

why u bank in the cash after the transaction instead of waiting till yr credit card due date to pay? can earn some interest instead.

wat u should have done is u should have paid at least 2nd month also.
this is ur fault. it's nvr mbb fault bcoz it's the merchant who's charging ur cc, not mbb paying to the merchant.
and once the approval date of ur auto debit has passed the statement date of ur bill, merchant wont know u have autodebit until the next bill.

In your case, I only encounter during the 1st month of auto-pay. After that, Amex always auto-pay within 3-5 working days from my bills date. Very fast, sometimes I not yet collect the physical bills (for locations I seldom go) but already deduct from my Amex.

Toys R Us Express at Sunway Pyramid does not accept AMEX. They are using MBF EDC terminals.

Some restaurant I've came to, when I pass them AMEX card they inform me that they don't accept it.

Do you guys ask them to proceed and try 1st or just issue another card straight?

If it uses Maybank EDC / Visa +Mastercard sticker, you can use AMEX usually.
I saw only Visa+Master at Pepper Lunch and I knew it was a Maybank EDC terminal, the cashier accepted it.

Sames goes to Chicago Rib House. I only saw Visa/Mastercard emblem at the entrance. I inquired if they accept AMEX when made the payment. The terminal they used is from CIMB.
