Yes, I read the prospectus already. Section 20 said that Maybank and most major ATMS can apply this IPO. For internet application however, is limited to CIMB only.UOA Group, Everything About UOADEV

Just applied through HLB ATM.
I suppose the price is RM 2.90 per share. But after I keyed in 5 lots, the total amount shown in the ATM screen is RM 145.00 only. HLB keyed in the wrong price? |

QUOTE(alexander3133 @ May 22 2011, 06:23 PM) Just applied through HLB ATM. i think you want to apply 5000 shares, right ? Today lot size is 100, so you need to key in 50lots instead of 5 lots.I suppose the price is RM 2.90 per share. But after I keyed in 5 lots, the total amount shown in the ATM screen is RM 145.00 only. HLB keyed in the wrong price? |

QUOTE(alexander3133 @ May 22 2011, 06:23 PM) Just applied through HLB ATM. Im guessing its similar with Maybank ATM which i used to apply today for myself.I suppose the price is RM 2.90 per share. But after I keyed in 5 lots, the total amount shown in the ATM screen is RM 145.00 only. HLB keyed in the wrong price? It asks for 'lots' but in turn what it means is shares. So if you want to apply for 1000 shares for RM2.9k, you need to input 1000, and not 10. For your case if u want to apply for 500 shares, then input 500 instead of 5. |

QUOTE(Veda @ May 22 2011, 09:26 PM) In alexander3133's case, RM145 means 50 shares, yet he keyed in '5 lots'. But... the ATM screen there clearly wrote lot not share.Just to confirm, Maybank ATM uses 'lots' instead of 'units'? The receipt printed out from the ATM also writing lot. I don't dare to key in 50 that time because just in case they made mistake in the pricing or quantity, I have not much money to pay them. 1 unit = RM 2.90 1 lot = 100 units = RM 290 5 lots = 500 units = RM RM 1450 I just scare the "in case". So, if happened to be "unit" instead of "lot", am I able to edit my order? Because I already applied. This post has been edited by alexander3133: May 22 2011, 11:40 PM |

If you keyed in 50 that time and your account doesn't have sufficient fund, i believe that the transaction will not proceed. Just my 2 cents |

QUOTE(CP88 @ May 22 2011, 11:55 PM) Bro Alexander3133, That is true.If you keyed in 50 that time and your account doesn't have sufficient fund, i believe that the transaction will not proceed. Just my 2 cents There is another reason why I think they keyed in the wrong share price is because: When the ATM machine prompted me to enter the quantity in lot, it only allows me to enter 3 digits. which mean the valid range is from 1 to 999. So if the quantity is in unit instead of shares, the max you can apply is just 999 shares which I don't think is true. For my pocket sake, I just play safe and entered 5 instead of 50. |

QUOTE(andyhui @ May 23 2011, 11:36 AM) every time,IPOthread become an education thread of how to apply IPO to some noobs. No one is discussing their biz. bos, you are entirely wrong. why only read the last 2 pages and came up with that silly conclusion? Go read from 1st page, okmy view, despite low but not so low pe,no much upside as other property stock has better land bank There are 4 pages of healthy discussion. At the end of the day, it depends on the individual to what sort of strategy they are after. Long term, short, hit and run etc. If for Hit and Run - none of the ratios, business etc make sense to them. WHO CARES, get IPO dump on 1st day. LOL A lot of things doesn't make sense for example in Smartag - traders/punters are just driving the price crazy. So, no harm whatsoever. Their money, their choice. You probably spend hundred of manhours trying to FIGURE out if its a GOOD BUY or not. Other people just spend 1-2 hours to make more money than you spend your effort on analyzing some numbers. in the end, if people wanna goreng, they will goreng whatever price that will make no SENSE to you. |
