I used Handcent SMS mainly due to its iPhone SMS theme.. I kinda 'prefer' the way iP4 shows SMS. Neat, simple, easy. laugh.gif

As for the andida battery, some users (online @ XDA Forum) reported that it's false-reported hi-capacity. It's only around 13xx~14xx mAh, but not as mentioned @ 18xx mAh.. No source for the link. Saw it long time ago and lost the link doh.gif

sad its false statement - i was thinking of buying that cuz the battery life on desire HD compare to desire..
im thinking of rotting my DHD but just want to know how long roughly it take to go tru the whole process... including downagrading the version?

There are several apps capable of doing that. Just get it from market with key words sms backup.

And like calex mention, go sms rock too. I use this one.

Did you do a software upgrade? What is your current version now? Check via Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software Information

If you haven't update anything, don't do so. Leave it as it is, then it's very easy to root, ENG S-OFF & RADIO S-OFF, flash new ROM, viola! laugh.gif

what kind of news u mean ? i think thats all
what i know is...currently been displaying under 50% and can last for almost 2 days...with min usage. This morning i charge my hp 7.58am my battery status is 2%

before this i don't do collaboration...within 30 minutes my battery life show 50% from 100% (set 100% brightness and play angry bird with the music)

Advanced power menu, if i'm not mistaken, is which the "power off menu" which appears when you hold power button

By default only 3 - Power Off, Restart, Airplane.

Advanced menu gives extra option like Restart to Recovery, etc..

currently running ARHD 3.0. and using launcher pro, but i found my battery drain a bit faster than htc stock launcher. if i install to many launcher like launcher 7 + launcher pro and so on, the more launcher will drain more battery even thought i didnt use it?
