now still thinking whether to alternate my pump for caltex (krr b1f1 worth RM21.90) or petron (rm1 voucher).

p/s: krr b1f1 caltex promo, only hot meal set with fixed sides: coleslaw, mash potation, and bake beans. no drinks. can pay credit card (e.g. HLB Mach), and then add bpoints as well (any bcards).

My question is. Buy one hot meal free one hot meal? Coz I hate those b1f1 promo that you need to buy one set, free one quarter chicken only or smaller item.

Tnc doesnt really specify clearly.
*
the t&c stated clearly. buy 1 hot meal, free 1 hot meal worth RM21.90

For you guys, petronas treatpoint better or cash back better? Currently i using This card, and i thinking isn't value to change the card become this card?

Normally i pump petronas as just 500 meter away from my house or my mum house was only petronas. Caltex was 2km away from my home.  sweat.gif
*
cashback = cash biggrin.gif i'd take this anytime.

furthermore, 8% cb for petronas spending is credited monthly.

TPs, you need to keep spending to accumulate the points, until you can redeem something (e.g. vouchers). best equivalent rate is 1.25% after redeem.

if you have no allegiance to specific petrol brand or due to convenience (in your case), 8% cb for Petronas is darn good.

But i worry it was scam so i browse through the homepage and facebook, look OK leh..not like scammer.. confused.gif

seems reliable. many ppl here applied cards and gotten freebies.

little annoyance is sometimes they are slow responding to give you status of the freebie.

or mbb ikhwan visa petronas with 8% cb on weekends.

on a slight note, post #1 need to be update. already been left abandoned for some time now, and this thread count has not reached its limit to warrant a new TS.

i'd propose new TS to actively manage a new thread for petrol cc.

fyi hye MilesAndMore

p/s: no new TS appointed for Mach by Hong Leong thread either. TS application was open since 2 Nov. smile.gif

Snapshot no use.
What i mean is when you pump on Saturday using Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Card. (by right you should get cash rabate)
When statement out it show the posting date is, for example, Sunday, then no cash back.

even though you pump on the day but you cant sure the day you pump is the posting date.
*
take your pick biggrin.gif

mbb ikhwan visa petronas, 8% for petronas on Sat/Sun, transactions above. observe the transaction vs posting.

mbb ikhwan mastercard, 5% for petrol on Fri/Sat, transctions below. pump on 10 Dec (Sat), posted on 12 Dec (Mon), cashback received on 1 Jan.

Transaction Date determines cashback eligibility, i.e. whether you swiped on Sat/Sun or weekday. This is the key indicator.

Posting Date determines which monthly cashback quota to be utilized.

To get cashback, what's important is the transaction date and not posting date as shown in your screenshot? biggrin.gif

First time pump petrol using Pin & Pay at self service automated dispenser.

Will the same amount of RM 250 being held?
*
post more info

1) which petrol brand? each has different reserved amount, e.g. my experience --> Petronas/Caltex/BHP reserved RM200
2) did you get any SMS notification?

iinm, there's no change preauthorization mechanism. surprisingly, they educate cardholders of this in their replacement card mailer, cuz many ppl caught offguard changing from bankcard --> debit card or new credit card users.
