prior to 1 Sep, i was informed by Affin staff that they will offer something for new cardholders. since no details is published, i guess info is for internal rebate granting to new cardholders.

they calls may be recorded, so can use it for dispute if you didnt receive the promised-rebate upon meeting the T&C.

call again to find out the T&C, eg spending amount or transaction count, period of eligibility, expectation to receive the rebate, etc.

well, i was thinking the same.

however, i do feel bhp fuel fits better with my car than petronas, so changed to affin bhp and canceled Ikhwan Petronas. 10% cashback + feel-good fuel > Ikhwan Petronas

since i can easily reapply Maybank card without much hassle/rejection, no harm doing so.

i wish no sst too.

anyway, agree with you, if difficult to reach nearby BHP station, not worth it.

i got 1 petrol transaction & posted same day at 13 Jan. the cashback not counted in this month's cashback.

i wonder if their cashback cutoff is T-1 day before statement date gonna write to CS to get clarifications.


**update from CS: Any transaction posting on the statement date 13th will be credited (cashback) on next statement date.

the behavior is a bit different whereby transaction posted on statement date will be "billed" at T=0, but the cashback is T-1 **

Affin just called to verify my card usage.... 2 BHP pumps today, once 5pm+ another 9pm+.

they just wanted to verify that usage is genuine since most of the card usage is at specific petrol station (they only know the merchant's name, not the petrol station name)

told him i was using bhp card for 10% cashback

where did you find "3x transactions"?

already experienced this scenario back in January.

posting on statement date, will get cb next month statement date, but trx will be billed on current statement date.

cb cutoff is statement date T-1

no sst waiver

rm20 is the bonus feature for bhp card, and has been there since day 1. it has nothing to do with sst.
