My Affin BHP card application got rejected. Not easy get this card man. Haha. I trying to find out why got rejected now. It has been quite a while since any of my cc application got rejected.

Fuyo. Affin call center don't even have IVR after office hour. Straight 2 ring pick up. Either they too free coz no one call them or they very efficient.

But the online account is abit of a pain to register. Need go atm.

Goin to test their 10% BHP tomorrow.

Got approx RM25 from Shell Citi. The catch to get higher CB is to spend it on other category as well. I spend approx RM350 on petrol, and RM400-RM500 on retail and dining.

The amount is at least something for now. Once HLB approve my wise card, kiss goodbye to Shell Citi.

Anyone know how Affin BHP calculate their cashback? The cashback shown is more than the amount spend. It looks like the rebate amount is exactly as the "temporary per-authorization amount" that u usually get when u start pumping the petrol.

Ok, so today seems that the actual rebate amount is received on 13/4 (statement date)

06/04/2016 PAYPASS PETROL CREDIT 20.00
13/04/2016 BHPetrol Cash Rebate 15.23

So what is that RM20?

Also, from the online unbilled transaction it seems that the BHP cash rebate calculation is following statement date cycle.

Does affinbank credit card bhp petrol requires you to wave and pay or just swipe at the petrol pump to enjoy the rebate?

I think want to cancel off the m2. Pretty useless now as not everything can 5 tp already. And no cb. Damn. But the ikhwan card what petrol station also can rite. But can I transfer my m2 tp to ikhwan if I apply Iowan because I find no meaning keeping the useless m2. Now mbb degrade m2 as "basic card"

call CS to cancel m2card and transfer the TPs to Ikhwan.

also, you can use Ikhwan at any petrol stations, including inside service counters.

im torn between Maybank ikhwan and cimb petronas. cimb mainly due to the same bank as my wage bank. main usage would be for petrol, other than that more towards booking hotel and flight ticket. quite a headache

ic. in that case get cimb. and tell them that cimb is also your main account that receive your salary. it might help

cimb CR 2% in all petrol and grocery+ 5% online spend.

while cimb petronas fixed to petronas only.

ive been looking at maybank as well. they have the maybank ikhwan which gives out 5% grocery cashback. not sure about petrol

maybank ikwan u need to get the mastercard version. only this will give u 5% rebate for petrol n groceries. the visa version gives u point instead.

now i am even confused. there are treatpoints/cash rebate. so when i apply gotta mention i want the visa instead of mastercard?

if u wan cashrebate u need to ask for mastercard...if u wan point u need to ask visa. dont get it wrong. yea its kindda confusing.
