Btw, This Is A Lamp, after reading ur review, suddenly felt that my review is useless and pointless. TT
For me, the significant standout is ur battery, it looks so big from other 8-9 cell batteries!
Nah, the keyboard will be the advantage in my POV, since I realise now typing for a long period makes my left hand middle and forth finger pain. I think ur keyboard won't have this problem since it is island type(is it called right? )

Actually, it's not so bad!

The area near the LCD and speakers is the potential area for dust to collect, and your fingerprints smear across the glossy plastic. But that's the only area that I see right now is affected.

The aluminum finish of the NP8170 should be cool I think.

Yeah, it's called island keyboard or chiclet keyboard. It's nice to type though, so far I haven't seen any dirty points from typing.

yeah. if they use sound level meter, it can give an accurate results.

Damn.... That laptop is a monster. Wish I had that kind of money to buy it. It's customizable too? (e.g. Proc, GFX etc)

This is a barebone system, so almost all major components can be changed. Cpu and gpu can be changed by end user.

Haha, well I can't think of any other place to put it. If you're really picky about the sound, put it to 1080p youtube setting
