Dun think so. I think VISTA requires online registration to work...no more pirated stuff...

I just wonder how much does VISTA Home Premium cost? Maybe i should get the WIN MCE now and get a free upgrade later...hhmmm..

Basically I think Vista is overpriced. With a little fancy pansy tweaks and added support for 64bit and microsoft is selling it at over RM700. I believe many users will stick to XP for years to come unless microsoft are willing to lower down the price for retail Vista which I doubt they will. Unfortunately, most PC vendors will sure to bundle Vista with PCs and the cost will shift to consumers.

I don't think so. It has many improvement over XP, like WDM, intergrated search, faster response time, and such. But reviewers tend to hype the Aero as the only thing Vista has to offer, which is a misinformation in their part

For those who have old and weak pc will have problems just to upgrade their pc or buy new pc just to take a peek of vista's features, yet vista itself (especially ultimate version) is priced just about the same as the pc's price..

It will be troublesome for ppl who can't really afford it and if they just being ignorant they'll get behind others.. Furthermore new applications will most probably need vista's support..

Just my 2 cents.. wink.gif

PC not strong enough but want to try out vista? then try windows vista without installing it on your PC via M$ virtual labs site that lets you test-drive the business version of the OS, right inside your browser.

Eh, now we can't see all the nice graphic (HDD Map) during Disk Defragmenting already? laugh.gif What a shame

BTW, the search function is cool. If you know how to utilize it. You rarely have to access the folder by browsing into it. And how do we know if the ReadyBoost is really doing its job?
