no.its a cheap china set one.cost around rm500.low spec oso

means u need to run z4root to root it again, until success

wah.usually after u run z4root, it'll mention that ur device is rooted. if that case happens, you might another root tools like androot? im not so sure cos z4root works perfectly well for me.

i revert back to the stock rom now, and i facing problem
1. my operator network not detected, keep show airplane mode
2. how to make the csl bootscreen, i tried to replace the bootanimated.zip, but not working, still showing the android phantom king bootscreen.

for the imei problem..normally have to use SUT to revert, and not clockwork ..

I would like to give an idea.

Try to flash back your phone using Spice Stock Rom,then install Rom manager & get root.Place your backup recovery csl stock rom then restore http://uploading.com/files/2m59a23d/2011-02-11-01.13.zip.

If got back into CSL Stock rom, then do factory setting & reboot.

hope it works cuz i haven't try it yet.

I tried to use that http://uploading.com/files/2m59a23d/2011-02-11-01.13.zip but cant restore due to MD5 check failed. so i use back my own stock rom to restore. but after that it keep in airplane mode, how to solve ah? help me please.

I will advise you not to consider this tablet , cos it is very laggy. A 600 MHz chip powering it . I tested it about half hour when it was last launched at LowYat. For its price, it is better to get the 7" Galaxy Tab ( AP sets now only RM 1700+ while original is RM2.1k). It is still on Eclair 2.1 , not too sure about any Froyo roms for it. The tablet can take in any 3G simcard as long as it is data enabled. Please refer post#1 of the official thread - carrypad has a comprehensive review : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1528978

BTW because of its lower chip, you cannot run flash fully on it

Added on March 25, 2011, 3:09 pmTo get back your unit into non- airplane mode is to flash back the stock rom, either through recovery ( if you have make a backup ) or flashing thro SUT the Spice stock rom
After flash, just ensure at settings/wireless & network/mobile network - the selection for Enable always on mobile data is tick

i see. thx bro, i now understand. one more thing. im sure that we can make call or sms with galaxy tab is it? eventhough it is 3g enabled.

erm.im looking for cheap tab with:

1.fair smoothness
2.enough processor to run psx4droid, other 3d games.
3.a 7" screen, so that i can surf or read e-book easily
4.latest android version (optional) & upgradable from time to time
5.can make call & sms (i dunno if this kind of thing exists, but i think its possible)

After you install rom manager, did you select flash clockwork recovery ? If you are unable to flash this recovery from rom manager, then you need to do it manually

1. Download recovery image here : http://uploading.com/files/8a5mbd38/recove....5.1.3-z71.img/

2. Copy this image file to : root of sdcard\clockworkmod\download\koush.tandtgaming.com\recoveries

Create these folders if its not on the sd card

3. Launch rommanager and tap on flash 'clockworkmod recovery'.

I have tested several of such cheap ones prices ranging RM 500 to RM800 - I can guarantee you that after a few hours you just want to throw it away. These cheap tabs more for light office, email, browsing and definitely not for serious gamers. I still say the Galaxy Tab is the best - if you are on a tight budget there are used units at around RM 1500 at garage sales. I am not sure whether it can run psx4droid games as I am not a gamer guy
