QUOTE(GameSky @ Apr 23 2011, 05:52 PM) ok I know how to fix the video issues, especially on mp4 videos that display distorted colors and green bar... Just rename your video.mp4 to video.wmv ...and it WORKS...now you've proper colour and the annoying green bar is gone. Funny, but it works...not sure if it's 2.2 problem, rom or hardware problem... Try ur suggestion & it works. I got this green bar at 5 files of mp4 video. Before this I convert using Allock software....

QUOTE(DunkyKung @ Apr 23 2011, 02:07 PM) Update FC in the games? Phantom Setup 1.3 available on newsstands Notes VM heap size is the maximum amount of information that each application can have simultaneously in memory (RAM maximum space occupied in a given time). The lower, the faster will be the smaller applications, but then larger applications may have problems, even with low crash. For example the Asphalt 5 requires the value of the heap size of at least 32m is not the case when a FC will try to play. Stragefright Player is responsible not only for high values in the quadrant as well as by certain erroneous playback MP4 videos. *only for phantom revolution rev3c does this mean, we can play asphalt 5 on our spice QUOTE(GameSky @ Apr 23 2011, 05:52 PM) ok I know how to fix the video issues, especially on mp4 videos that display distorted colors and green bar... yeah, funny thing after google, and testing renaming the format Also, how to "turn off" the "always showing" notification in rev3c? it's pretty annoying not to see "full" screen with notification bar on top.. Added on April 23, 2011, 9:06 pmoh nvm, it seems it will auto hide soon... This post has been edited by GameSky: Apr 23 2011, 09:06 PM

QUOTE(Rudd @ Apr 23 2011, 09:19 PM) do u guys usually recharge the battery to 100% before flash custom roms? To be safe, at least 70 % charged. Actually even at 20 % you can also flash it but if your phone unexpectedly freeze and reboot constantly be prepared for a bricked phone. I have flash even with 20 % ( I did that on my Dell Streak and Galaxy Tab ) but I was confident and I know exactly what I was doing and what I expect to see as these were all just updating of newer versions - so no issues. But why would one wish to do this - prevention is still better than cure - have a good charge before flashing.

in the readme file made by phantom, he state we need to use recovery mode to install the nbo,
will it be any different than just using download mode?

it's better to use SUT and set your phone in download mode Before make any jumps to another rom, makesure your phone flashed with 2.1 rom, custom 2.1 rom or ori spice 2.1 rom. Then set the phone to download mode, and use SUT to flash a new rom on it. The step to revert back to 2.1 before flashing to any rom is to prevent IMEI lost when flashing In case you forgot, and you experienced IMEI lost, no service when using custom 2.2 rom, just use SUT to flash 2.1 rom to your phone and done, you've your IMEI back (based on my experience, )
