You can use these apps to improve the GPS lockup. No harm trying it as they are all free apps

My last experience with the GPS on the mi300 is very good : GPS lockup in 1 to max 2 secs on Sygic Aura and about 3-5 secs on Papago X5

Normally if hardware issue means have to cahnge motherboard ; sent in to claim for new set if you are unhappy

after done the sd partition, do you guys enable app2sd, data2sd, dalvik2sd, and swap all the elements?

i just enabled swap and app2sd only

i didnt do any partitioning and still can do move to sd card selection wor...
did i miss something ?

i think froyo can still manually put app in sd card, partitioning maybe just to organize app and auto install in sd..imo la.

I think you are using the app2sd downloaded from market, right?

i think it's normal when u surf about hour to drain 10-20% of battery
my phone only drain to 90% after quite a while surfing and using wifi or data..

enable it, thats the reason why we create partition in the first place no?
enabling it requires reboot, then use config manager and check log,
you should see the following

[+] 18:03:20 Dalvik2sd enabled
[+] 18:03:20 Dalvik2sd enabled
[+] 18:03:24 App2sd enabled
[+] 18:03:24 Swap enabled on partition

tats one time, i got prob with locking, take 10 min half and hour also cannt detect, den i shake shake, goyang goyang, den restore to stock, reflash to another rom, volla, dunno why the locking becoem very fast alrady

actualy hard to locking is depend of the gps part is dirt or not, try to clean it up abit, sure can detect one
