I believe that's not one of the main criteria to get application approved. smile.gif

Monthly bank in to your account is a factor in the consideration but it does not necessarily means an automatic qualification.
Banks never mentioned this in their qualification criteria in any of their official communications/forms,etc and all this while we assume this is the qualification criteria because a lot of the readers mentioned they experienced so.

While it happens to a lot of people, it doesn't mean it will apply to everyone in Malaysia who has an account with Maybank.

Did they request payslip from you? For my case, they didn't. Sometimes I'm wondering if we can lie on the figure to ensure our application gets approved? (if our annual income doesn't reach 30k la) laugh.gif I know I'm naive, what if they suddenly ask for the payslip right? laugh.gif tongue.gif

they did, since i'm new/new customer.
no credit cards and stuffs.
Actually there is no way they'll reject ur case if u got a credit card with have CL more than a specific amount.
Lying in application form doesn't seem wrong.
My colleague which annual income less than 30k/year also get a plat from CitiBank where their staff wrote 70k/annum on the salary column sweat.gif

Nope, didn't do anything because I had no intention to add CC besides my CIMB DA but they called to offer me. Never heard of this Maybankard2Gold until I stumbled upon this thread. smile.gif
No, I didn't fill up anything, everything via a 15 minutes phone call...

Oh, didn't see that it was ur first with Maybank.
Maybe ur CL/payment for DA is quite good and your SA a big trailer, hence the pre-approved card brows.gif

I'm not sure if my CIMB DA record is visible for them but I have never delayed any of my payment and it is 100% full payment all the time. If that is the reason then it is much justified now because my SA is really a trolley kecik. laugh.gif

i always see if got amex sign/sticker at the shop, if dont have:
1. ask the cashier
2. if the cashier not sure or dont know, i let the cashier try
3. if card not supported then bring out other card sweat.gif

Loans, credit card, repayments and etcs all available to every bank through the system itself.
